I placed an order with them and missed their followup email asking to verify my address for fraud prevention. By the time I cleared up what they wanted and why (albeit with some attitude from me because I didn't understand) they sold the RMR I ordered out from under me. The gentlemen was apologetic but why bother asking to verify if you don't hold the merchandise? Especially if you're in communication with me about the address problem.

I know who Harvester is, as we don't often get complaints. Harvester had placed his order 9 days ago. We called him within an hour of receiving his order to say that some portion of his credit card information was wrong. It may have been name or address. At any rate, when we didn't hear from him for a few days, we had to release the item(s) to other customers. By the time he returned our call today, the item was out of stock.

I should correct my comment above. I contacted Harvester six days ago.

I emailed you and tried to give you a chance to correct your statements but I have to call you out. You corrected the time frame in which you contacted me but failed to correct the method. You are either lying or you are mistaken in saying that you've called me as I have had no phone contact with you or anyone from your store.

I placed my order on the 23rd and my phone shows no incoming calls that day. I will however verify that you emailed me an hour and a half later to inform me that I needed to confirm my address but I mistook that for a shipping confirmation (like the kind from auto generated shipping labels.)

I did not have further contact with you until the 26th when I responded to your email. After an explanation, from both you and me, I provided the required information. I also apologized for being short as I had just worked a retail “Black Saturday” sale. You did not contact me again until Monday morning when you informed me that “Right now none of this matters, as we have sold out on the RM08G RMR sights."

Harvester, I did contact you by email, as you said, and not phone, on the 23rd. I told you that your credit card company said your information was not correct. You did reply, but only to insist that your information was correct, and to accuse me of running a scam. Your card company was not open again until Monday, your information still didn't verify, but it didn't matter, since we had run out of stock on the RM08G's.

I don't want to engage in a spitting match here. We had a ton of orders last week. If someone didn't reply, we had to move on to fill another order. If you should place another order with us for anything over $350, I'll give you a $20 discount.

I see that someone with the username "Rick707" gave a thumbs-down to this deal because he thought it was "spam, self-promotion".

I guess he doesn't know that there's hundreds of retailers who pay to have deals posted on this site, and without those paid advertisers the site wouldn't exist.

There's a few of the low-priced Trijicon products on which our price is actually higher than Trijicon's MAP price. We don't always realize our price is higher than MAP until someone like you points it out.

Thanks

Strange, when I add item RM33 to my cart, the crossed out price of '$88.40' (To see product price, add this item to your cart) goes _up_ to $93.53, not down to a lower price.

Sorry, asian_redneck. I didn't see your question before.

An "authorized Trijicon dealer" is one that is in their dealer direct program, which means paying $25,000 up front and getting X number of products to start with. The price isn't really any different than what we are paying now through our distributor. If we had to invest $25,000, our prices would be higher.

Trijicon does not allow any retailers--"authorized" or not--to handle warranty issues, returns, repairs, or other problems. Everything must be sent to the factory for them to make decisions. So, working with an "authorized dealer" does not afford any more product protection than dealing with retailers such as us who do not pay the $25,000 upfront cost.

Thanks
Dick

Is Lens and Lasers an authorized Trijicon dealer?
