These were $359-379 last year. Thanks PSA for continually price gouging. New COVID Price. 9-2-2020.

Honestly though hate to say it compared to current market prices this is still decent. You can still complete this full rifle for under $600

I bought one last year for $310 with the mbus, without was $270 IIRC.

They were $269 with free shipping and no tax Christmas season of 2018. Now, having to collect tax isn't PSA's fault, but the $210 price increase and $17 shipping charge is. This is almost double the price two years ago. Anyone's wages double in two years?

PSA used to be the darling of internet gun shopping for their quality to price ratio, but it seems like they've been coasting on the reputation and silently eliminating the value for some time now.

with the current gun buying craze, this is a smoking deal. I am very suprised PSA hadn't inflated the price by at least $100-$150 more.... Perfect kit for an 80% lower. That way the libtard gun grabbers at risk of being elected can mind their own f-ing business!

Hmmm. Does this kit really cost $179 more to produce than it did last year?

Brickyard1306-

I’m not affiliated with PSA in any way, but have spent many thousands of dollars on their products over the past few years, and I’ve very rarely missed looking through the daily and weekend deals.

This kit goes up and down in price, as does all of their other deals. You are correct that it has usually been $300 for the past year or so, but not steadily.

I have never seen them price gouge.

They have their flaws, but that is not one of them.

I have spent thousands of dollars on PSA products as well. They are price gouging.

Have bought a few things from PSA in last year, decent stuff. But I will no longer be buying from them, one day after Florida shooting and they jack all their prices up 10%. This kit has been $299 for the last year. Support other retailers that don’t gouge customers because stupid people are fear buying.

I'm referring to the PSA freedom kits being better than PTAC and other $299 kits that might have a lot of Chinese parts.

As far as Bear Creek vs PSA , Bear Creek suggests NOT to use steel cased ammo. PSA says it's OK. People looking at these companies are a lot of time budget minded ( like myself )
and might want to shoot steel cased ammo. I know people shoot steel through the BCA, it just bugs me the company says not to.

A lot of people on here has commented on rusted BCA barrels before, I would prefer nitride or stainless.

BCA has a lot of good deals though too. I would say PSA might hold it's value slightly better. Although I like AERO better than both of them. That's just my humble opinion :)

Have shot over 500 rounds of steel through my BCA 7.62x39 upper with not one problem yet.

If I'm looking at the specs correctly this kit in the freedom kit are the same why would the freedom kit be better because it comes with different color furniture or you referring to the freedom kit that had Magpul Furniture I'm not sure but the specs look the same personally I would take it Bear Creek Arsenal upper / PSA just because bearcreekarsenal make better barrels I'm sure people are going to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about but if you look at the specs between a PSA and a bca Barrel you'll see

The PSA freedom kit is better quality then some of the other $299 kits out there.

On the other hand you could find a complete upper, LPK and BCG from different sources, and build a COMPLETE AR for under $300 if your willing to find them.

Literally about to hit “complete purchase.” Someone tell me why I shouldn’t buy this.

You would need to also purchase a stripped lower.

Forgive my ignorance but I just wanted to know if this is a complete AR parts or do I need to purchase additional parts to build a complete one. I wanted to start learning how to build my own AR. Thanks...

Wow, prices are as low as I have ever seen them.

This is a great starter kit. I own several PSA products. In addition to the stripped lower receiver, (I like the Anderson lowers for about $40 plus FFL license transfer cost), and a rear sight (BUIS), plus a magazine (magpul 30 round P-mag), and don't forget booolets!
