Lots of folks love MSRs or modern sporting rifles, they are the fastest green platform for hunting and for good reasons. Most folks don't know that the AR-15 was marketed back in the late 50s and early 60s as an MSR, and well before it was adopted by the military. Another interesting fact is AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, not Assault Rifle or Automatic Rifle, interesting history, you should really check it out. Anyway, there is a long list of why it is the best hunting platform in my opinion. MSR, Modern Sporting Rifle.

So, those of us that like shooting, we like guns, new and interesting and different, always catches the eye, so when I saw POF's Tombstone, a lever action magazine fed 9mm, it absolutely got my attention. This is innovative, this is different, I have not seen anything like this before, I really did like the idea of a lever action in 9mm, if you follow my channel you know that I love 9mm, and then some of you are really old school and you like the lever action.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals. Today, on the path to try and blow myself up I'm using another one of the cheapest AR-15 barrels on the market, this is the Diamondback 16-inch mid-length barrel that occasionally goes on sale for a whopping $39.99, making it one of the cheapest AR-15 barrels you can possibly find.

For many the 65 caliber reigns supreme for ballistic coefficients starting over a century ago in 1890 with a Swedish Mouser, the 65x55, and for a long time it was considered the world's most accurate caliber, and the Europeans still use it today as one of their favorite hunting and competition guns. I even did a video with my 1898 Swed and shot a dime Colt Bore at 100 yards, and I've done that more than once. This is accurate and from a gun over a hundred years old.

The 5.7x28 has gained a huge following and just continues to grow as more find out about it, its accuracy, the ballistics, the ammo weight, and little to know, recoil. The ballistics from this little round are nothing less than impressive. Ammo cost was a serious issue, but it still is, the prices are coming down and availability is growing, there is now at least six different companies that are making it with over a dozen different loads from them.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals, today we're going to be taking a look at one of the highest performance-per-dollar barrels on the market, and that's not because the performance is the highest but because the dollars are basically the lowest, this is the Anderson 14.5.

Many folks are familiar with Springfield's XDM series, it's been around a long time, guys, and most have heard of it. Springfield not long ago released kind of the newer line called the Echelon, at least they have this one, the Echelon. What is the Echelon? Is it really something new and Earth-shattering? For all the XDM fans is it going to win you over? There's only one way to find out.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals, today we're going to be taking a look at something that is very interesting, conceptually, this is the Foxtrot Mike Gen 2 AR-15 upper receivers. These use a captured recoil system entirely inside of the upper receiver so you actually don't need the buffer tube on an AR-15 at all.

Conceal carry is big business these days, now more than ever, everyone is always looking for the most punch in the smallest possible configuration. The 40 Smith and Wesson no doubt has some stopping power or punch and is ballistically impressive to say the least. For many the 40 Smith and Wesson is still the best caliber for self-defense and conceal carry or just carry period. How will Taurus's new G3C in the 40 Smith and Wesson hold up? Will it prove to be a solid budget gun platform for a 40 cal? What kind of accuracy performance and reliability can we expect?

5.7x28 cartridge is really gaining some traction, guys, it was originally developed to replace the 9 mm for NATO, it's an interesting story in history, I recommend reading about it and doing some research before you decide on getting a 5.7, just so you know that you're getting what you're wanting.

Hey guys, welcome back. I do a lot of reviews and videos on concealed carry, self-defense guns, I've done a lot, especially on the 22 and the 9 mm. For me it was always kind of those were the two options, either the really small, really lightweight, no recoil 22, 22 mag, and then the 9mm.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals, today we're going to be taking a look at the Riton 3 Primal 3-18x50. While this does have an MSRP of about $650, street price is much closer to around 400 to 450 bucks, and a little bit underneath that on sale, meaning that for a 3-18x50 first vocal plane optic this is in that budget but still capable of long range shooting spectrum.

Not long ago I did a review on the 22 Long Rifle versus the 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, or WMR, for self-defense, it was very important to point out that the comparison was only based on pistols for that review. The 22 WMR, 22 Mag was not designed to be a pistol, and you could see that in the review, it was very evident when we looked at the ballistics. That got me thinking that I need to get a 22 Mag rifle to review, and then review it for potential self-defense gun.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals, today we're going to betaking a look at the best budget 1-10 LPVOs. That might sound like a contradiction in terms, and in some ways it is, but I'm going to go ahead and give you the best 1-10s that you can find, or at least the ones that I've tried, for under $1,000. For some of you that is definitely not a budget scope, but in the grand scheme of things for 1-10s sub-$1,000 is on the cheaper side of things.

Good morning, everyone, this is John with gun.deals, today we're going to be taking a look at the Delta Team Tactical Warship upper receiver kit, this is basically a complete kit minus the lower receiver for a pistol caliber carbine. This one specifically is based off of the fairly new Aero Precision EPC 9 kit, which has a few interesting things going on with the upper receiver, which we'll get into a little bit later on.
