Description
We must petition Obama to uphold our second amendment rights, all of them. Including our right to bear arms that will reasonably defend us from ALL ENEMIES foriegn or domestic. We must also educate the public as the media and goverment have demonized the words "assualt weapon". In fact there has not been any type of "assualt weapon" used in any of the recent shootings. An assualt weapon is a weapon with selective fire. If we move forward on the assualt weapon ban we move towards the total disarming of Americans. Where will the line be drawn? These so called assualt weapons have few differences from our hunting rifles with the only difference being the stock and furniture. It was proven once before that a ban on "assualt weapons" is useless. Columbine happen in the middle of the Clinton ban

The NRA says that its purpose is to protect the second amendment rights of American citizens, and that it has no ties to the gun industry. However, a recent comprehensive Huffington Post piece by Peter Dreier questions that with some pretty compelling data. The article indicated that the NRA’s interest has always favored the gun industry over its rank-and-file contributing members. Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, has vowed a move to impeach President Obama if he takes executive order on any of the measures. Read more here...
The petition for new gun restrictions had over 400,000 signatures. This is hovering around 20k. Unless you get near 400,000 it won't even merit a worthwhile response.

Do you think they don't already know about this petition?? They wont speak a word of it. And where do you suggest this information is posted in the back alleys under hushed breaths so we are not heard?
I value this website. We as gun owners are under attack on all fronts. One front is online gun and ammunition sales. We should post our comments on the NRA Facebook page, join the NRA and or donate to the NRA. I share your view, just not the manner in which you chose to express it. To post here right next to an add to buy and AR upper shipped right to our house is fodder for some left wing liberal to broadcast on the evening news. Think it through is all I'm saying.

People need to think when vote and stop voting for the Antigun and AntiAmerican democrats! I wasn't the biggest Romney supporter but I refuse to vote for pieces of feces like Obozo who wants to tape our rights!
