Could you update if the pistol has threaded barrel?
I know I'm late, but I had some unexpected work travel. The barrel is indeed threaded 1/2x28. It comes with a ~1-1.5" long over-barrel muzzle device that gives it a tucked look, but the barrel actually extends 3/4-1" beyond the handguard.
I bit on one... what got me is the brace alone is probably worth 1/3 - 1/2 of the overall price. I'm going to swap this brace with the folding skeleton mil-spec tube I have on my 3D-printed Glock chassis, and put an SBA3 knock-off on it on this.
I know the rifle version is advertised as having a 1/2-28 threaded barrel, but nowhere does it explicitly say the pistol variants do... I'm hopeful it does, planning to use it with my JK 105 VersaX if it is indeed threaded.
If this would drop in price another $25-$30 I'd buy one just for fun. These would be sweet with a suppressor. Just unsure how reliable they are.
I want a TX22 but not willing to pay more than double what it's worth. Anyone know if this can accept an FRT?
Does anyone know if these are M&P 15-22 magazines? They look nearly identical.
FWIW ...... this comment thread is from the linked video:

Those magazines are pure S&W M&P 15-22 copies. I do like that it has a dust cover!

That's all I wanna know is if I can use my SW MP mags in this????????

I answer my own question. I emailed the company they said that MP 15 22mags will work.

I do not know how much this will help you, but I have a Retay pistol in 22LR (RXP22) and it's been nothing but reliable, even with extended 18 round mags. Have run around 1k rounds through it without issue. It's easy to take apart and clean, and acceptably accurate at the range (not like my 1911s in .45, but I guess that's to be expected.)
I too have been waiting for this to be widely available because it looks like it would be cheap fun on the range.
Seems a nice little plinker/trainer. I'm curious as to how they run and if they are reliable? I'd buy one if they made this same model in 9mm at this price range. Anyone have one? Thoughts?

I can let you know this weekend... it's sitting at the FFL while I wait for another delivery (they discount transfer fees for multiples).
