Floridians For Liberty PAC objective is to get a Constitutional Amendment for Firearm Freedom on the Florida statewide ballot for the 2014 election. This is just our first step in Using Our Constitution To Restore Our Constitution.
Sign and submit the petition to get this important measure on the Florida ballot.

If a Floridian is permitted to stalk a person, provoke a confrontation, and end it with deadly force without going to jail, then I think the state already has enough gun rights.

The dude was looking for trouble, and he found it. Then, he shot someone. I didn't say it was right or wrong, all I said was if you are allowed to do that legally, then the gun laws are about as lax as they can be without legalizing murder.

I did read the whole thing in it's full glory before posting. If you think this is going to undo all the Federal gun legislation of the past century... well, good luck to you. This kind of thing has already been debated in the Supreme Court.
And as a rule I won't sign a petition that doesn't spell out in completion what it's trying to accomplish. It only seems fair for them to fully explain what they want my support for. Ther reference a lot of legislation they want to undo without explaining what that legislation is. For all I know, I might be agreeing to allow 10 year olds buy fully automatic weapons.
Leaving all that alone, and accepting that many people don't read for crap, posting this on a nation forum runs the high risk of garnering a lot of invalid signatures making a lot more work for the people sponsoring this, and/or risking invalidating the petition if they don't do that work properly.

Worthless pile of drivel. The petition should clearly spell out exactly what they're trying to do rather than refer to some obscure legal references that aren't even defined. From all I can read, this petition could very well be removing citizens' rights to carry arms.
I wouldn't sign it even if I was a FL resident.

I respect your right to freedom of speech, but manipulating our deal alerts to get attention for your cause is propagandist bull****, and it detracts from the legitimacy of your point.
Found a petition for this in a local gun shop yesterday, figured I'd give it a little bit of attention here. Needs a lot of signatures to make it to the ballot. If there is one state where it has a chance of passing, it's here in the Gunshine State. Share with Florida friends and family.

There were probably 20 posted in a couple weeks post Newtown. Why not support expanding rights now instead of trying to reduce blowback after the next mass shooting? I have no affiliation with this organization, just thought those in Florida might be interested in getting a ballot measure authorized.
