The modular design of the AR-10 allows many parts to be upgraded with ease. The forend is one of the parts that is usually removed first. When the factory AR-10 handguard is replaced with the ODIN Works 17.5″ M-LOK 308 O2 Lite ‘Low Profile’ Handguard, it lowers the weight considerably. The ODIN Works O2 Lite was designed from the ground up to work with the most common DPMS type AR-10 uppers. There are two upper receiver configurations, the High Profile, and the Low Profile. The high profile receiver has a height of 2.06″ inches, whereas the low profile receiver is 2.00 inches in height. One of the pictures in the description has instructions showing where to measure the upper receiver to determine which size receiver you have.

This free-float, hard-anodized design is just 10.75 ounces with the hardware. It is CNC machined from 6005-T651 aluminum for strength and corrosion resistance. The simple, modular M-LOK system was designed by MAGPUL as an accessory mounting platform. There are QD sling mount at 3 and 9 o’clock, and M-LOK accessory mounts at 3, 6, and 9.
