Ordered one today. I've had good luck with Botach. We'll see if it holds.

Ordered in last week and received it a few days later. Great price for an awesome red dot. As far as I’m concerned, based on 5 purchases with this retailer they’re good to go

if everything is included that is supposed to be, it's a great deal

That’s a great price but I would not trust botach tactical at all. I ordered a couple “in stock” mags from them once and didn’t get them for 4 months. Sent multiple emails and called and never got a reply or a tracking number.

Ordered one and received it in a few days. Also ordered several stocks from them in the past w/o any issue at all

Ordered mine late on the 12th, shipped the 13th and due to arrive on the 19th. My luck it won't be as sharp as everyone says. We'll see.

How was the one you received? Got mine on the 19th and it was fine. Thinking of ordering another.

Junk, I got mine and had crazy halo and glare. Returned .

$129.95 is the cheapest I've seen on these.

Spent $40 more than that less than 6 months ago! As always, electronics prices fall, altho' given this has optics as well I wouldn't have expected it to fall this far, this fast! Smmmokin' deal, if you're in the market for a RDS...

Don’t recommend buying from botac. Purchased this item was shipped without mounting screws. Used it as a paperweight for a month before the screws shipped.

Finally got to use this from when I ordered it when they were 141 . 49 bad ass optic

I'm getting a lot of side glare on mine. I took a sample video and put it on YouTube, could you guys look at what mine looks like and see if it's normal? The smallest amount of light behind me causes glare https://youtu.be/LA7mkTVFvzo

Not seeing it on mine.

What direction is your front glass angled? Mine is angled to the side and I get terrible glare, but if I turn it 90 degrees it's much better https://youtu.be/WoGuWptdTWk

I ended up ordering 3. 2 came in the white box. The 3rd didn't ship as thy ran out of stock. I did recieve it about a week late but ended up getting a normal Holosun box, came with both high and low stock mounts, normal instructions, everything. Plus it came with the battle steel mount so that was cool there is no difference between the sights in generic boxes vs something you would get at optics planet other than being some sort of overrun minus factory mounts. I called Holosun when I didn't get screws in first order. Holosun told me they are aware of the version botach is sellingand can't help as they didn't provide mounts or screws to botach. Thus botach would have to help me and they did. Great deal when they were at $141!!! I really like the battle steel co-witness mount as well! Much better than stock Holosun mount or the low profile Qd mount which is kinda wonky. No locking machinism but what the heck it was free. Kinda wish I would have ordered more at that original price point.

Received both my orders. Tested them both. So far so good.

Looks the same. Does the dot and circle dot. I didn't do much beyond that. The foam container has the same accessories and cutouts as the usual Holosun minus the stock low mount being gone. I chose the quick release mount that of course came with no screws. I received an email yesterday though indicating screws are being mailed without contacting them. So I think they figured out what was going wrong.

I think they read this thread. I got an email indicating screws are being mailed without asking. Sight I received is white box but functions and looks like the real thing.

Hmm, I have it coming with the QD mount too. Hope I don't have to look for screws too. So people are suspect a chinese ripoff of a chinese product?

I think the warning sign is they let you select a mount... This made me hesistant, but went for it anyway.

I think they have a bunch and are mixing and matching parts to get stuff moving. I have a real 503GU at home that I'll compare to mine when I can check tonight.

Has anyone else received one? I have other Holosun sights, and received mine from Botach today. Based on the packaging (plain white box versus box and printed sleeve on others) instructions (printing and manuals are different), and lack of mount, I think that the one that I received is not a real Holosun.

Hmm... I followed the steps to make an offer for 141.49, and it came back with a counter offer of 166.

WTF I ordered two and they came super fast but don't have mounting screws?? Where the hell am I gonna get these type of screws??? I ordered the QD low mount.... Super annoyed right now..

FYI: this does not include screws to attach the optic to the mount.

Mine came with the 4 required screws to attach to the flat-top cowitness mount.

New to shooting. Just bought the Ruger AR-556 MPR. Will this sight work on that? Is the "HoloSun 503GU w/ AR15/M4 True Co-Witness Flat Top Mount" The correct mount to choose for the Ruger AR-556 MPR? Thanks for your help!

How long is it taking after you place your order for it to be shipped out? I ordered mine the 21st and its yet to be shipped out.

Which, if any, of these mounts will achieve a 1/3 co-witness with an a2 front sight?

None. The closest is the M4 Flat top mount. It will full-cowitness.

I ordered two and changed mind on mount for one. Botach already had label created and went back to change mount. They were super fast on this order and on top of my request. I also ordered an Enforce light last week and it came 3 days earlier than expected delivery date. They have been stellar on my last 3 orders... Just saying...

What would be best for a Ruger 556 MPR? New to long guns and starting to research this. Thank you in advance.

This would be great with that rifle. But I agree with ncgoober, depends on what type of shooting you want to do. You can buy this and then get a magnifier

0 votes
0 votes

What do you want to shoot and from how far and how good are your eyes?

I'd say look at a 1-4 and figure out if that wouldn't work for you.

0 votes

Thank you. Eyes are 20/20. Purpose would be a mix of everything: short and long range, self-defense, and really just to have and to hold.

0 votes
0 votes

Well as soon as you say self defense that has to take priority so a shake awake optic like this is probably a good fit. Add a cheap PA 3X magnifier for the longer range.

Get this and add a magnifier later.

FWIW I have one 1/3 mount with a 3x magnifier and it works just fine.

This is an awesome deal. I ordered one but I always have my doubts with Botach, a lot of times they don't have items in stock and take months to ship without notifying you.

Mine just shipped.

Hope this is real. Bought one about a year ago and it functions great after you get over that the front lens is slightly off angle by design. The reticle is crisp and love the choice between circle dot and dot.

Please let this be real. Just as others said submit an offer, they reply with a link, then pay.

Also looking forward to them getting their HS507c out that I heard went through a redesign and is currently in testing.

You had to get over the fact that the lens is off angle, are you serious? You understand that even aimpoint does that.

I've seen multiple people complain about this on Holosun no knowing it's by design. I could not care less personally.
