Not at all you pump once then pull the trigger twice. It's essentially two pump actions put together.
Buy a Maverick 88 for $200 or a Mossberg 930 for around $450. If you can't hit what you're aiming at with a shotgun using six rounds, this thing here won't do you any good.
A SD shotgun's spread is only about the size of a fist at 5 yards. Being off that amount in a high stress situation is not unheard of. You sound kinda like Hillary...."who needs 30 rounds anyway."
If you can't hit your intended target with a shotgun with 6 rounds, at only 5 yards, maybe my 12 year old daughter can teach you how to shoot. And I wouldn't recommend using a pistol for YOUR home defense weapon if you can't hit with a short-barreled shotgun! Especially after six rounds! And I am all for High-capacity mags. But YOU sound like you need practice shooting or maybe a new prescription for your glasses...Thinking things over...I hope you are the only member of your household when an intruder comes inside your home. You sound like you may accidentally shoot a relative being that bad of shot.
Actually I wasn't saying me but you really do sound like Dianne Feinstein right now. Guess home invaders only bring the number of people which is equivalent to the number of shells your mag tube holds. As long as that rule of thumb remains true, Mr. Wick you should be fine.
I hope your 12 year old daughter has a gun too if you are relying only on your own badassness and 'one shot, one kill' philosophy to protect your homestead. Let me ask you a question; in all your years on Mall Team Six have you ever missed a target with a shotgun? If not, I bow to your holiness, if so.....I accept your apology.
P.S. I do not own any high-cap shotgun but was simply pointing out your gungrabber 'six rounds is all you need if not its the shooter not the gun' logic.
Ms. Clinton, is that you?!?
Yes.i have actually missed a target with a shotgun. But it was a lot further away than 5 yards and I was using a slug. I see that you are now making rules for an engagement... what happens if more than one person invade your home... what happens if you miss. Well Chief, what happens if your shotgun jams? What happens if you have a heart attack while engaging these home Invaders? I can make them up just as well as you can. I always have spare ammunition with each gun. I also would have a side arm just in case my Mossberg 930 which holds ten rounds would fail. And we also have approximately 3 guns for each person in the house. As well as many thousands of rounds to back them up. I can empty my Mossberg 930 in less than 3 seconds, but find it a foolish thing to do in a home invasion. The worst thing you can have is an empty gun to fight with. Take your time and study the situation. Multitasking this time will allow you to replenish any rounds you have already fired off. Or you can go ahead and fire 16 rounds in your super shotgun and be a Sitting Duck for those 8 people that have invaded your home.
So we agree your original 6 rounds weren't enough! Nuff said ;)
Where exactly are you reading into that? I said nothing of the sort. I said YOU need to learn how to shoot and maybe a Maverick 88 with 5+1 would do the job. I also said carry spare ammo with you. I also said to take your time and study the situation. Multitasking this time will allow you to replenish any rounds you have already fired off. Maybe you really should look into a set of glasses, Chief.
Of course every situation will be different. If 40 people break into your home, you had better have lots of back-up, or some pretty ingenious traps set. If a couple of punks break into your home and an 18", 5+1 Maverick 88 shotgun won't be enough for you, even at 5 yards, I would give up guns and move to a safer neighborhood. Maybe Zach Peters (google it) can give you a few tips. :u/

LOL. Can't make this shit up.....
What exactly is your point, Chief. I have many guns, of many calibers, that hold many different combinations of rounds. My favorite is the 930. But the Maverick is a much better HD gun because of its size. And as I said, if 'YOU' (WooHoo2You) can't hit what you're aiming at with a shotgun using six rounds, this thing here won't do you any good" It is obvious you can not. I CAN hit what I am aiming at with a shotgun loaded with either 00 or whatever I want to place in the magazine, especially at only 5 yards...something YOU seem incapable of doing. Maybe a little training would do you some good. And now this conversation is over...

Sorry sweetie you done lost....I do not care if you call me chief, pal, bud, or cap but by your own logic any more than 6 rounds is unnecessary. 'Maybe your 12 year old daughter can teach you how to shoot." LOL..........................
So, you're firing both barrels every time you pull the trigger? That probably wouldn't get old fast at all ...
