Oh, you don't have an adjustment screw on yours? You must be one of those poors I've heard so much about.
Many lower receivers have this, yes, but not all of them do. Hence why this or the earplug option both have been used.
There's a small adjustment screw inside the handle that is for this exact thing. It should be built-in to your lower.
