This includes a 10.3 inch barrel, you only need a charging handle and BCG to complete the upper.
The other $200 You'll spend on a barrel. This deal doesn't include one.
Lol give us a break. What a chode.
Not one single thing this upper & rail can do that you can't do for $150 worth of parts. Anyone buying this would worry about scratching it if SHTF. When are these companies going to realize that price doesn't necessarily = quality on an forged upper receiver and a flipping quad rail? I used to swear by DD bolts and use only them, these days you can save TONS for = quality there as well. In Truck terms, DD thinks it's still a Ford Raptor when it's looking more and more like a 2wd Ranger with the same Raptor Pricing.
Just like cars you can get a Ferrari (this upper) or a Kia.
Both cars will get you around town, just like a $300 complete upper will do what you need it to do. I'm glade we have these options in this country
My truck will out perform both off road and cost a lot less than something you can't get serviced at the oil station on the corner. I'd like to see a comparison as to why people think this is worth it.
Yeah, you're paying an extra $600+ for a name and cause somebody put rail covers on for you. Give me mlok over quad any day anyway. The only people that are going to care about this thing when they go to the range are the other dolts that wasted their money on it too.
If he's trying to make a analogy between "a ferrari or a kia" then he really needs to be comparing this against a musket. Maybe an old bolt action. Acting like this will majorly outperform the mass of other uppers at a 3rd of the cost is asinine. A real comparison would be between your truck, and the same one with the "limited" package. You can pay a premium for the leather and that ass a/c sure feels nice, but they really do nothing for tactile performance. That and you're probably gonna start crying with the first scratch or dent.
Yeah but the Ferrari can out perform the Kia in every category except gas consumption. That's a horrible example. You can get the same exact performance from an Anderson upper and cheaper quad rail. Shhhhh!
waste of money. this upper offers absolutely nothing over discounted uppers costing only 2-300.
For what it normally is its a good deal. MK18 upper are over $1000. Add a DD bcg, flash hider and charging handle which is about $250, so you out $880 total. Thats $200 less then normal.
Jeezalou. I know DD is quality but they need to come off it in this market. Hundred more bucks can build you a decent rifle these days....
People interest in this aren’t interested in “a decent rifle”. They’re interested in an excellent rifle.”
It describes a barrel, but you dont get it?
