Description

These premium 9310 Bolt carrier groups are manufactured by AO Precision to the highest standards of top tier manufacturers within the industry. AO makes these HPT / MPI BCG's for other Military contractor juggernauts, such as FN America. All bolts are rigorously inspected and are individually High Pressure Tested and then go through a Magnetic Particle Inspection.

Mil Spec Bolt
Enhanced 9310 Steel
Shot Peened
High Pressure Tested (HPT)
Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI)

Mil Spec Carrier
8620 Aircraft Grade Steel

Mil Spec Gas Key

Please note: These BCG's are considered premium because of the materials used and the Military Spec requirements that are adhered to during the manufacturing process. The HPT/metallurgy equipment and processes that these go through are very hard to find and very expensive. These are battle proven (literally), but they may not be as pretty as other BCG's out there.

Stick with Dravo company

Could be wrong but it feels like this company is banking on you thinking they are Aero Precision. They're not. Please, don't buy your BCG from an unknown.

I bought this. and also an unmarked toolcraft c158 for $79 at PSA. The toolcraft looks and feels nicer.

Ridiculous pricing considering most high volume online retailers are starting their 223/556 BCG’s around $70. I’ve got several different ones delivering this week from AimSurplus.

Not the price advertised. 126 after the 1776 code.

I bought 3 of the phosphate and all are MIL as stated, functional and staked properly. NO RAGRETS. Got that sweet whistle headed into battery. Looks like AO just doesn't have the nitriding down or are outsourcing to a less than stellar sun tier.

Good update. It sounds like the extra $10 for the phosphate 158 Carpenter model, is a way to avoid a bunch of disappointment, and hassle. https://www.righttobear.com/AO-Precision-Phosphate-Bolt-Carrier-Group-158-HP-p/aom16-hpt-mpi.htm...

I bought three of these bcgs. Not a slick finish - seems rough. Firing pin ret pin very tight. Firing pins have non-uniform appearance, one is tarnished/has corrosion(rust?). Will try out once ready for range. Disappointed at this “”PREMIUM”” pproduct

Will try once

RTB honorably refunded the price of the three bcg’s. They did not return the $26.- that I am out for return of these defective products. No further orders from me.

Now that I installed it into my upper, when the BCG goes back-and-forth there’s a very loud squeal which I attribute to some milling cuts along the top of the bolt in the area of the GAS KEY. NOT GOOD. gas key on both sides.

Here is a little bolt carrier 101. What you called mill cuts are actually the upper rails. There are two of them, one each side of the gas key. There are also two lower rails. These four rails are the only points of contact between the carrier, and the upper receiver. The gas key, and the gas key channel in the charging handle serve as a guide during cycling. Bottom line, you spent around $400 for three shitty BCGs. You need to contact RTB last week.

Well, Cub-scoutregiment145541 it looks like you showed up about 10 months late for the party. mba382 took my advice, contacted RTB, and got his problem resolved 9 months ago. (See above comments). Son, the lateness and personal nature of your comment contributed nothing positive to this forum or to mba382 resolving his problem, but it does cast serious doubt in the minds of other readers regarding your true motive for engaging in this forum. I highly suggest you avoid behaving like a Jerk/Troll in the future.

My son bought one and it is poorly finished, doesn't want to go into battery sometimes because it's so rough, better choices than this.

I suggest you contact RTB, and request they resolve your problem. If that fails, contact AO Precision.

I'm hopeful RTB will resolve your problem. They do have a good history of customer service. Better quality control at AO Precision could have prevented this hassle. Keep us informed on what happens.

The surface finish of these carriers is very rough, and sounds like an old school rapper scratching records when you cycle the firearm
