Description

CZ USA Pre-Owned 83 380 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) Compact Semi-Automatic Pistol 3.8" Barrel 12+1 Capacity Fixed Sights Polymer Grips CZ83-380-BC-PO - The micro-sized .380s that have arrived on the scene in recent years have reduced dimensions to the point that they are difficult to control even for the most accomplished shooters. The CZ 83's combination of small size and moderate weight easily handles the new generation of high-performance defensive ammo that has become available for 'pocket' pistol calibers from leading ammo manufacturers. The DA/SA trigger mechanism operates in the same manner as the CZ 75. The 83 can be carried 'cocked and locked' with the hammer back and the safety on for single action operation, or it may be manually decocked for hammer-down carry. When carried in the decocked position, the safety lever does not need to be de-activated, but instead the first shot is double action and subsequent shots are single action. The CZ 83 features an ambidextrous manual safety and magazine catch.

These PRE-OWNED firearms have seen some action, but we have selected the BEST OF THE BEST to sell on-line at iAmmo.com.

Just picked up one of the those, low serial number, year of 1986,apparently not shot a lot, with strong rifling and shiny bore. It's a keeper!

FYI to those interested. I picked up an extra mag from Widener's for $38 shipped (ouch). I also picked up a used leather police holster and mag pouch both in nice shape from CDNN for $12 + shipping.

This deal comes with 1 mag. These magazines are not hard to find, however, they are roughly double the price of .380 ACP mags for Ruger, S&W, Bersa, etc. The 12 round capacity is higher.

well at one point that was true but not so much anymore since CZ USA discontinued them. Magazine education time. CZ 82 and CZ 83 magazines are interchangeable and will hold 12- 9x18 Makarov rounds or 13- 380 rounds. There are two types of magazines for these. Original surplus that have a pair of crossed swords stamped on the side of it and the CZ USA manufactured ones that have a baseplate with a hole in the middle and mfg cz stamped on the bottom. Both function flawlessly with the original surplus on the higher side of cost around $45+ and the CZ USA around $26. Now for the rumor mill part. Rumor goes CZ USA found a large amount of NOS CZ USA 82/83 magazines in the warehouse long forgotten years ago after discontinuing the CZ 83 line. This guy bought most of them "Robertson Trading Post ". Google it, should be first one, go to inventory CZ82/83 and it will take you to his gunsamerica auctions where for 3 cz 82/83 mags run $26 each plus 10 ship so roughly under $30 each. He also has the same deal on gunbroker with the same exact pictures.
This is in NO way a promotion of this guys business. I have NOT dealt with him. This is just the cheapest out there. Use at own risk.

Considering they only stopped producing the CZ-83 2 years ago, I find that rumor hard to believe.

Was going to order two but the shipping was 74 dollars. That is not reasonable to me.

Just tried to order this gun, but shipping was $33.99 and that seems pretty steep to me.

I looked at it a few months back and the shipping was much less. When I ordered it a few weeks ago it was $41 for shipping. Seemed kinda steep but I looked it up and it's the going rate for 2nd day air. I'm glad I ordered it. This gun looks unissued. It's that nice. Shoots like a dream and very accurate. Since I already have an LCP it's nice not to have to stock another caliber like 9 mak. The only downside are the price and availability of mags.

One more thing. These must be police issued guns since they have painted slides, not blued like commercial ones.

I never get online to write reviews because I am purely lazy. However, after dealing with these guys I had to. This was the first purchase I have made from them and for any firearms, so I was a little nervous. I called them to be sure they were real, they were. They sent my weapon out immediately and it was in mint condition for a preowned weapon. Fired 50 rounds with no failures, and it looks like new. I am so impressed with them, I am going to buy my next one through them just for the simplicity and integrity. Thanks guys!

This is a great deal. This is a very ergonomic pistol, tough as nails, accurate, very reliable.

I prefer the 82 in 9x18, but the .380 will be easier for most people to find in local gun shops, etc.

These make a fine CCW. Not as light as the polymer pistols out there, but way cheaper and built like a tank.

I carry the cz 82 in makarov. Good gun. Very accurate. About the size of a bersa Thunder.

When I add it to cart it comes up with a $20 FFL restriction processing fee. What's up with that? I took the order process all the way until I had to enter my card number and the fee stayed. OP should update price to $232 to reflect $20 fee. Also, how many mags come with this? I don't see anything in the description on their page.

For me the shipped price was $248. $212 (gun) + $20 (fee) + $16 (S+H). That doesn't include any FFL fee since this is not C&R eligible. A better option for those with C&R and aren't particular about 380 might be the CZ82 from Century which is 9mm mak. Comes to $263 shipped and includes 2 mags + holster. Since the CZ82 is C&R eligible there's no FFL fee. If you factor-in the FFL fee on the CZ83 they are priced the same but you get an additional mag worth $40+ (assuming the CZ83 only comes with 1 mag) and a holster.

Something to think about.

they waived the $20 ffl fee when I called about it. I had them the ffl same day.

So if you don't call them they charge you $20 to receive your FFL license? What a bunch of shysters.

I think they dropped this charge. When I recently ordered it didn't come up. The shipping was steep but they sent it 2nd day air.
