Description
Washingtontimes.com - Click on Visit Deal to read the entire article - The California state Senate voted 28-8 Wednesday to exempt itself from the pointless gun-control laws that apply to the rest of the populace. Legislators apparently think they alone are worthy to pack heat on the streets for personal protection, and the masses ought to wait until the police arrive.

I couldn't find a CA bill that passed 28-8 or that did what the editorial claims. The editor did not post a bill number. Several commenters on the editorial have posted the same thing. Unless another story can be found to corroborate this which lists a bill number, you may want to consider removing it. At this time, I wouldn't be confident that the article is accurate.
PS- When I come to gun.deals I want to see gun deals. If you MUST post news, please post it AFTER the gun deals so I don't have to scroll down through old news to see the latest deals.
Hopefully this helps. I haven't read the bill, just did a quick search. We will try and figure out something different/better for displaying news for those that are interested. Thanks for your input.

**** the People's Republic of Kalifornia. Dunno if you've heard about the recent demographic and economic trends in the state but, long story short, it's becoming the land of the ultra-wealthy and the land of the poor - the middle class are neither needed nor wanted and the state is still dead last in terms of attracting business.
There have been some great last stands throughout history and some valiant decades-long (if not longer) struggles for liberty but I think it's time to abandon the ship. Go where you're wanted, go where you can do some good, go where you can enjoy yourself... just leave the accent(s) over there, please. =)
