I thought they were a bougie range toy for many years, only for people who thought they could spend their money to proficiency or for high speed 3 gun type runs, but their adoption by military and police (which tends to follow whatever the military is doing) seems to have really shown their effectiveness. 2-3 years ago I finally caved in a bought one....and boy was I wrong. They aren't just perfect for range use but also for CCW type pistols. And even if I still have 20/10 vision, I find they make you a much better reactive shooter with zero time to align sights or focus, not so much for precision but that isn't my personal goal. I want to be able to consistently form tight groups at self defense distances (and on) as quickly as functionally possible. Especially for follow up shots. Not trying to be milspec_mojo...nor could I ever be ;)

I figured this deal wouldn't last. They changed the price to $349. I know they have buying power, but cost on this is slightly over 250. I wonder if they honored them at 199.99. Battlehawk has a better price by far. There are virtually no reviews on this optic.
