UgotTDS frequently changes usernames (like every couple of weeks) and always goes "not verified" when that occurs. I can only assume another manual deletion.

This is a really good price, and I think it dropped by $50, didn't it? I'm just wondering if I have any guns with the Aimpoint ACRO footprint. My Canik TP9SFx came with a bunch of plate adapters but I am not sure it includes the ACRO. Gonna have to pull out the box and check....

FWIW, I'm cheap so the most I'll pay for a pistol RD / reflex tends to be about $200, that Vortex looks sweet but appears to be slightly over my threshold. Sure you'll love it though.

No problem facts are facts, doesn't matter if you spend hours rearranging your explanation from other sites or not. The military began using reflex sites 25 years ago so to project that this is something fairly recent is just foolish.

Depends on what you're going to use it for. A red dot sight is a reflex sight enclosed in a tube. Open reflex sights provide a wider field of view and unlimited eye relief and are better for faster target acquisition and are more comfortable for aiming with both eyes open. Tube reflex sights are generally for shots of 50 yards or more but obviously can be used at shorter distances. I don't see the red dot going away anytime soon.
