Description

The legislation being pushed by Feinstein — who has long history of calling for gun bans — would prohibit the sale, transfer, importation and manufacture of certain firearms.

Feinstank needs to retire. The old bitch has been against the good people of California and more fore illegal scum for decades. People like this POS are the exact scum our forefathers wanted us to be able to protect ourselves against . Remember liberal scum the reason you live in a free country is because somebody with a gun fought for our rights. Rights that you want to destroy. F these people!

List of firearms ( by name, model, code #, and "Style") to be banned by Sen D. Feinstein's new law.

Includes such items as "... all AK types..." and also one model listed as a .22 LR (Armalite M15 22 LR Carbine ).

This is not a definition list, nor any thing about caliber ( this list includes .22, .223 ( both US and Russian ), 9mm, .30 cal (both .308 NATO and Russian AK rnds), 5.7x28mm, 6.5/6.8mm new rounds for M4/SCAR weapons used by SF, .45 acp, and .50 cal; and perhaps other calibers which I do not recognize at this time. (add 12 ga too in semi auto military style )

This is also not a list of magazine round capacity, magazine type..., as these weapons can use all sorts of sizes/ lengths of magazines... up to 100 rounders ( and then even more ). The shotguns listed would have either box magazine or tube fed...

Although it does list any semi-auto rifle which uses belt fed ammo ( Machine gun copies in semi... ) to include a semi-auto M2HB weapon.

Ouch, not what I want, what part of "shall not be infringed" does she not understand? Regards, a voter, a veteran, and a member of the Well Regulated Militia!

Too lazy or inept to use Excel...lmao.

These are the same people behind the '94 ban. Why are they still around? All of them should be retired or fired by now. Term limits for all major fed positions!!!

That commie bitch didn't have to work on this too much. It looks like a virtual copy of Kalifornia's anti-gun law.

This list is not comprehensive, there are models not mentioned which would meet their criteria as "assault" rifles. I personally will keep all of my Defense Rifles even if they have a similar title. I agree pushing this through will be difficult. My fear is the stipulation that you can keep your current weapons, but then surrender them on your death. We can't do this to our decendents.

I know rifles (including so called 'assault rifles') were responsible for something like less than 350 out of over 11,000 gun deaths but someone needs to go through that list and see how many deaths were from those exact guns. Too bad she's safe from impeachment in the Peoples Republic of California.

Thanks for keeping people informed and maybe this should be posted on the deals page for visibility but ordinarily would prefer to see this as a forum post. Am I way off base in believing that this ban would be very difficult to push through?

To answer your question on the new laws passing, I believe anything can happen. We are talking about politicians with agendas who might not be rational or seek what is best for their constituents. A perfect example is the NY ban. The state of NY has many rural LEOs which provide their own on duty weapons. The new law made no exemptions for LEOs which means limited capacity magazines and no rifles.

My biggest concern is the lack of urgency and activism from gun owners. The attitude seems to be of hoarding and assumption that it is someone else's fight. The other interestimg fact, which is evident on this site, is the lack of support towards gun supporters. I agree that leaders and institutions on their best day are immensely flawed and have agendas. However, it is my view that it is time to support anyone that supports gun ownership.

Where was the lack of urgency during the election? Everyone knew that the BHOle is as anti-gun as they come yet the base did not turn out. He plainly said he was going to go after "assault weapons" and handguns during the debates. I was NOT a fan of Romney and I think he was a bad choice but he was the only viable choice and look at the alternative.

Sorry, I never noticed a forum here... doesn't look like anyone uses it. I figured someone could always pull it down.

Please don't be sorry. THIS is exactly what this site is about. People need to know what is goin on in our congress. And as far as it being someone else's fight I'm not sure where you live but in my state we have a bill going through stating that such a ban on "weapons" would be illegal. It's called the 10th amendment. Maybe it's time to look at the state you live in? Just my 2 cents.
