I'm sure Midway gets better shipping rates than my little gun store, but shipping ain't cheap. My cost to ship 5 boxes (100 rounds) via UPS was $12.92. That was with a business shipping account discount too. I don't think Midway is getting rich off their shipping.

GSO, they are charging $19.00 shipping on one box of rounds. They are making a huge profit on each purchase via overinflated shipping costs. That one box of rounds would cost no more than $10.00 shipping with most outlets. If they are getting an extra $5-8.00 on shipping of course they can undercut their competitions price a few cents.

THe shipping almost costs more than the item they're selling. A tiny box of bullets doesn't costs that much.

This isn't a deal at all. The shipping is absolutely positively rediculous. I was qouted $18 bucks to ship ONE box of ammo. This is beyong rediculous shipping prices. Wasn't expecting to see that type of behavior from Midway. Some people are saying to stack items to make the shipping worth it... Why? What kind of logic is that? You should be able to buy exactly what you want and not be forced to grab other items to make the one item you really want worth it.

Those who say "just add some stuff on" are just ignorant. I prefer to buy exactly what I want and not be just arse rammed on shipping. I e-mailed Larry directly and his assistant servant boy told me some very lame excuses. I can tell you from direct recent ordering that what Midway charges for 1 or 2 boxes of handgun ammo ($15.23) is only $7.00 to $8.95 at Larry's competitors. That is who will get ALL my business. Goodbye 4 ever Midway. PS. I am not alone on this, just read the other posts. Gouge ignorant people.

Agreed, why should I add on items I don't want or need just to help justify their ridiculous shipping charge.

Buy some other items at the same time to make the shipping worth it.

So when AIM has new inventory with no limits then sells out in 5 minutes, folks complain.

When Midway puts a limit on how much you can order so that others get a chance, folks complain.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Yep I had added some other ammo over the last few days. When I added the 2 boxes of this the shipping amount didn't even change. Great deal. But you are right, some people just like to complain and you will never please them. Just how it is.

Charging over $15 to ship 100 rounds. What a joke.

Shipping is about the same if you order $50 worth or $500. So, it's not too bad if you have a larger purchase.

I was about to check out, but that really is a messed up price on shipping. I think it costs about 7 or 8 per Cabellas. Midway is getting added to my list.

I know what you mean, Midway used to be my go to for bulk ammo but probably not anymore. The shipping just kills any half way decent deal.
