The Can Cannon is a 100% legal soda can launcher for your AR-15 / M16 rifle. The Can Cannon is perfect for launching soda cans and other similarly sized objects such as tennis balls, paint cans, t-shirts, or the X Products Grappling Hook You can view and print the full BATF approval letter by clicking this link. The Can Cannon is a patent pending launching device for soda cans and other heavy, thin walled objects. A proprietary gas ported barrel and pressure tube reduce the exposure to high pressure gasses which could destroy relatively delicate projectiles. The Can Cannon is currently configured for launching full, un-opened 12oz soda cans. When used with standard mil spec blanks and fired at an optimum angle it can reach an average distance of 105 yards!
Why launch soda cans instead of drinking them? Because you can! Projectile options are only limited by your creativity and local laws. The BATFE approved design is not considered a Destructive Device or firearm. Each unit is sold as an assembled upper with receiver, headspaced and mounted ported barrel, and pressure tube. The system is compatible with any AR-15 mil standard bolt and most piston bolts. Enjoy their no-hassle lifetime warranty.

Price is all over the place. I placed my order for the only one in stock around noon for $270. Then the price immediately went to $341 with 32 in stock. One sold and price stayed the same. Now, 30 in stock for $303.

So, this deal lasts less than 2 hours. On their website you can still order from them but they are now $341 plus shipping. Guess I wont be a customer. In addition, the NFA information is posted on their website as of now in regards to this item...

Wow remind me to never buy from this company. Trying to take advantage of unaware customers. Shame.

While I think the ATF is wasting everyone's time with this 'ruling' it is a short barrel (whatever) designed to fire a projectile when attached to a lower receiver. Not sure of the exact wording of the NFA however I bet this falls under it.

Please note: I do not support the NFA but we are a nation of laws and only the lawless expect to be exempted from what is on the books. And please don't say "common sense legislation" as my common sense is not the same as someone else's.

Wow what a bunch of scumbags...
Better to offload product than to inform people they might be breaking the law if they dont get NFA approval for this.

Oh look, a sale on these the day the ATF declares them a short barreled shotgun. I'll take two, and throw in a sig brace while you're at it.

Careful with this purchase - ATF just ruled this is a "AOW" when paired with a AR pistol lower. See article from Grabagun website.

If it's on a carbine lower they said that it is an "sbr" as well...so either way you're screwed
