Bought a bundle of MRE's from 'That Daily Deal'. More than 100 in my emergency stash that I will probably never use, or give to the boy scouts in 9.5 years.
Zero issues and great price. I just wish MRE's weren't full of hydrogenated oils, but I guess that is one way to keep the shelf life to 10+ years!
I bought some of these a month or so ago from them. They all expired in 2019 and none of the heaters worked. In fact, a couple of the heaters were leaking the powder and got over everything in the bag.
That is disappointing, it should be illegal to sell expired food and broken products. Have you tried calling them? If you complain I bet they will send you something better. I wouldn't want a bad mark on the BB Bureau.

These are junk. I took a chance and just received my order. 2 of twenty had a burst item, but that wasn't so bad. There was also a okay mix of meals.
The problem is that most of mine have a production year of 2016, and some are 2018 and 2021. MREs (although these are the civilian sure-pak versions and there are commercial components that do have actual expired dates) don't so much much expire as have inspection dates. However, there is no mention of these being old lots in the description, so this is just outright fraud.
