I just bought this gun. I paid $431.03 because they charge 3% for credit card fee, plus 3.50 for signature mail and they also tax you with Kentucky's tax rate. I'm in Washington State. So not really bargain if you also consider the FFL transfer. Mine was $45 dollars so that is $476.03 out the door.

But the pistol is 85% - 90% quality. I don't see holster wear and it does come with two magazine. Come in a dirty worn out SIG Sauer cardboard box with foam cutouts. Not the blue Sig Sauer plastic cases.

Missed out when they sold this gun for $269.99 back in 2008

It is against the law to charge you KY tax if the handgun is shipped to another state. They probably charged you for shipping not tax, like they did with my order. Call them and ask for refund. I emailed Mark to update the WIKI with $3.5 signature delivery fee. It is bullshit that they advertise free shipping on handguns and then charge you for it and slap another $3-$4 "signature" fee.

Just couple weeks ago Aim Surplus had this in stock for $335 or so http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1SIG225&name=Swiss+SIG-Sauer+P225+9mm+Pistol&groupid=301&search=p225...

Thank you for the info. I called and had my shipping charge of 14.99 refunded. So grand total of $460. Not really a smoking deal but I see value in this gun in the future. Thanks again!

Sig Sauer P6 Range Testing. So I went to the range with my Sig Sauer P6 today and here is my experience. I shot about 160 rounds with my gun. I had 1 FTF after 80 rounds possibly because of bad round. The Bullet was lodged deep into the case. Tossed that one. The gun was pretty dirty from the Centerfire Systems to begin with. I tried so Federal 135g Hydra-Shok. 5 rounds in the magazine. It was going well until the last one and then it jammed. Constantly jamming thereafter with the Hollow Point so P6 may not be a good choice for Home Defense if HP is your ammo. I'm not a good shooter but it seemed like you have to aim high in order to get a bulls eye. Its hard to align the target since the sights have no Dots. Overall, you get what you paid for. I hope once I clean the gun, it will perform better. This will be my last used gun purchase and I wouldn't consider this for my first choice as a personal defense because I'm concerned with Hollow Points Jamming. I will try some Hornady's JHPs since they have some greater angles to their bullets than the Hydra-Shok.
