Description

80% AR-15 LOWER RECEIVER

These 80% units provide you with an excellent starting point whether you're a large manufacturer or a DIY gunsmith.

There is machining required to render these 80% units operational. The material where the control group (hammer/trigger assembly) is located must be removed. 3 holes must be drilled in total, 2 for the hammer/trigger pins, and 1 for the selector switch. All other machining visible in images has been completed. All other holes have been drilled or tapped.

Our units also come with threaded bolt catch pin holes which negate the use of a hammer and punch. Instead, you simply insert the included threaded pin. We have also threaded the takedown pin detent spring hole. This makes installation of the buffer tube assembly much less cumbersome. Again, you simply install the detent spring and secure with an included set screw. We also offer a low priced jig to help complete your lower listed on this site.

We currently do not offer instructions on how to complete the lowers. There are far to many ways to complete these based on the skill level and machinery available. 80% lowers have been completed with everything from a 20 dollar Dremmel, to a 200k dollar horizontal CNC milling center. Options are endless. Please do a search on the web to include the forums and YouTube. There are quite a few very well written articles and videos available.

Our lower may work in other manufacturer's jigs, however we have not tested them all and cannot guarantee fitment. The Tactical Machine jig needs slight modification to for our lower to work with it. We offer a low priced jig that was designed for our lower but may also work with other lowers. Our jig is available on this site.
