From the PressTV article: The United States has set a new record for sales of firearms on a single day, with a 32-percent rise over the previous all-time high. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed that on November 25, the day after Thanksgiving, which is known as Black Friday, there were 129,166 requests for background checks that are required to purchase a gun in the US, a third more than the previous record of 97,848 in 2008.

Lets do the math.... 130K background check over the period of let say 18 hours. That is 7222 per hour. If an average FBI agent can do 5 transfers an hour (10-12 minutes each) that is 1444 agents working at the same time. That is a lot of tax payers dollars and a lot of waste of time for business that sell guns. Why this isn't computerized by now?

After watching the News on the Middle East, Greece and Italy and seeing the people in the streets Americans are running to buy a gun for protection. The folks in England would also buy a gun but they must rely on their government for protection.
