If you don't believe that 12.5 million private AR-15s and AKs could put up quite a fight against a rogue govt, you are a zika baby.

The dot gov would not be able to overtake Texas in a skirmish, let alone an entire Union of citizens. Hell, they can't seem to keep control of under 100 thousand AK-armed towlieban fighters with minimal training and 3rd-world surroundings.

There is ONE reason we're allowed to own such items : The DEFENSE OF LIBERTY.

People of limited intelligence, such as yourself, believe somehow that Uncle Sam is a magical, omniscient entity with no weaknesses. RIDDLE ME THIS: IF/WHEN SOME TREE-HUGGING, TIE-DYED DYKE CONVINCES CONGRESS AND THE SENATE TO START A DOOR-TO-DOOR ROUND-UP OF WEAPONS, WHO'S GONNA GO TO EACH HOUSE? OUR MILITARY? HOW MANY OF THE MEN WHO DEFEND LIBERTY DO YOU BELIEVE WILL SIDE WITH TYRANNY?

The biggest problem they face is personnel. Good luck even taking NC or SC's guns, let alone TX or Wyoming. They would literally have to start a ground war.

You entire sentiment is Un-American. Your argument is hogwash, and you would be one of the first to succumb to oppression. Meanwhile, if GOD FORBID a civil war or tyrannical leader ever came true, persons like myself and my friends and neighbors would spill our own guts to defend the LAND OF THE BRAVE.

Go back to the latex fetish websites; we don't want your kind on the gun sites.

I am pretty new to posting but a long time browser here. My experience with Delta Team Tactical was so-so. They were the cheapest for the few parts I needed for my AR and were super quick to ship. However I only received 2 of the 3 items. They were missing the gas tube. After a couple weeks of them not responding to emails and the ticket opened on the site, they finally got back to me. Apologized for the delay saying they have to deal with hundreds of emails. And the next day they shipped out the missing component (still in the mail). The other two items. Charging handle and gas block I received were great. So it looks like they could be dealing with an overabundance of orders and shortage of staff, but they did right by me, albeit the wait. Until they get all the kinks worked out, order with a grain of salt.

P.S. I do own this lower as well, but I ordered it directly from polymer 80. Pretty easy and straight forward mill. Back rails I took my time and fit. Was easier than their 80 AR lower. It is oh so satisfying when complete too.

I call bullshit on that... Oh wait - maybe they just like you better than everyone on here that has had past order problems with these jokers. Hkusp45 called it right I believe and said it very politely. I on the other hand don't believe you nor would I believe the product reviews from customers since it's beyond verification. Anyway - joy of your supposed order is overrated and I still think these guys are bad news.

sorry your only post and your brand new to the site don;t expect that to hold much weight, it makes it look like your an employee of the company. Not saying you are or aren't but I am saying that's what it looks like.

I had to register just to badmouth this company. I placed an order on 3 items that were listed at in stock. These were just random parts nothing that would require assembling like an upper. 3 weeks later and no response from customer service and no one picking up the phone I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company. It just doesn't take 23 days to stick individual parts that are "in stock" into a box and ship it out. If oyu can't do that in 3 weeks you are either incompetent or deceitful on the stock status of them items.

Agreed - Delta Team Tactical is one of the *WORST* companies to deal with. Ordering was pretty simple but the order didn't ship for weeks. Once I got the order I could see some of the items were junk but the reviews were all 5 star. DTT solicits your review for items you purchased as they continue to SPAM you after setting-up an account. If you write an honest review and give it a low score - your review will *NEVER* show-up. That will show you they aren't honest and just want to move product at your expense. I'd never deal with them again and would put them at or below CTD.

My big question is.....Why? Looking at the parts to complete, this route is significantly more expensive than buying a functioning firearm. I must be missing something.

why would one use an 80% ar lower? also the receiver itself is a lot less than a standard glock so if you needed a spare that is just yours and not available to govt confiscation due to the fact they do not know it exists .... there is that too.

LOL @ gubment gonna get ur guns crowd. 300 MILLION+ firearms in the United States with a government that can't get right on anything else let alone round up hundreds of millions of guns. Sorry but your just overpaying and stockpiling on fear and hype from the manufacturers at a level that makes cogarette companies jealous.

has nothing to do with them getting them it's more like it's not their business in the first place then there is the I'd like to see if I can build something crowd ( myself included) because well I like to build things and there is a satisfaction from a job done yourself. Glad to see your open minded though. Must be nice to have fellow firearm owners try to make other people feel small or stupid for no reason whatsoever. Way to support the liberal's

Ya your crowd doesnt like facts or rationale. Stating the obvious is not supporting liberals, its stating the obvious. Thanks to panicked gubment gonna ger ur gunz crowd for more than a year prices were prohibitively high, ammo out of stock, etc etc and NOT A SINGLE PERSON HAD THEIR GUN TAKEN FROM THEM. The entire time we could have been buying guns at reasonable prices, had plentiful ammo and enjoyed a wide selection of firearms. Who made money? Gun manufacturers who convinced you to panic, not Obamas superpac. Forest for the trees sir, forest for the trees.

Since you like facts here's one. The house and senate are the ONLY reason that Barry was not able to get an assault weapons ban law enacted. And his would have made clinton's 94 crime bill look like baby chit. So yeah there is some real fear there, especially if the upcoming election goes the wrong way.

Ya because the world would end and the gubment would take our house and car and job and bank if we didnt own ARs and AKs. Do you seriously believe owning an assault rifle would be even the slightest deterrant if the government actually dod want to take everything you have? It wouldnt make any difference. I own them because I think theyre fun to shoot and its a hobby. Owning them because you think it gives you independence from your government is delusional, demonstrated by the fact you have state or federal forms of ID, presumably file taxes, register a car, filled put a W2 or 1099, purchase internet access from a major corporation, have a cell phone etc etc etc. More tin foil hats sir. You are simply being marketed by fear and they are, by your own tacit admission, doing a great job.

You didn't read a single word I wrote. I don't even know what you are talking about. You responded to things I didn't even say. You think you are smarter than everyone else but you really aren't.

As I said, Barry would have that law in place right now if he hadn't been so aggressive in the first 2 years that he got his arse handed to him in '10 and '14.

I get the fact that I think a law like that would be bad and you think it would be ok.

Uh lets review. You said, basically, praise be to the republican legislature that we still own assault rifles beciase who knows what would happen omif theyd been banned. I said your delusional thinking that an AR or AK is any defense against a government determined to take your rights or property. They dont have to come within 100 miles of you to take what you own because anything that matters is all registered and digital and constantly monitored. You get so caught up in gun ownership marketing bulkshit that you miss real threats to your soverignty like the "know your customer" law that has basically made owning large amounta of cash or withdrawing large amounts of cash illegal. Youre looking behind you instead of infront of you.

See that's what I mean. Nobody said anything about fighting the government. You are a bat crazy lefty I guess, not that there's anything wrong with that . LOL

I haven't overpaid for firearms and neither has anyone I know again good on you trying to make a blanket statement with no support that anyone here has done so. Your assessing that just because one of the reasons to make your own firearm is to avoid another's knowledge of it makes them somehow scared . I feel you should be a psychic or medium with your vast knowledge of other peoples thoughts and reasoning for doing things. You may make a killing.

Now consider this as an alternative option a glock receiver cost is much higher than this one, if you damage your lower receiver it would cost much less to have one of these to replace your old one as well. or are we now going to discuss how that doesn't make sense after your remarks about how people are overpaying for things because of fear.

Just a fact for you firearm parts as of late have begun to hit an all time low not high its a great time when an AR can be had for less than $500.00 and the parts are being manufactured at a high rate are readily available and very low cost from several reputable manufacturers such as Anderson, Daniel Defense,Aero Precision, CMMG, Del Ton etc. (you get the idea I hope) The hype is over prices have stabilized from what I can see. But hey maybe all the deals listed here aren't support enough.

I wonder what exactly are included in this kit. Even on their own website I could not find the info other than some wow scary super hot.

The basic kit from Polymer 80 (the manufacturer) includes the receiver the jig and the bits for milling. This is what this should come with as the going rate for this is usually more like $150.00 (I'm rounding up). It does not come with the barrel, the slide assy, or the lower parts kit / trigger group.

so where would you buy all the excluded parts? its not like an AR15 build where the parts are everywhere.

I wish this site had a delete button. After reading the reviews I myself wish I had never posted this. I was just browsing for an AR barrel today when I seen this and though it was a pretty good deal. Good deal or not , no excuse for poor customer service.

All good man how would you know? it is a good deal I got suckered in too for the prices figured I would pass on my experience and provide some other feedback too. YOu'll get your stuff you just might waita long time.

Just a heads up don't expect to get anything from them quickly I did order a while back it took over a month and I had to follow up a lot. On the flip side the parts seem to be good but I would sooner purchase from a retailer that better communicates and keeps live in stock inventory on their website.

Here is what I found after I waited several weeks for my order, Only downside is they charged me upfront, which is not allowed by most credit card companies if you don't ship out immediately.

I ordered their 7075 T6 milspec buffer tube kit for an SBR build of a Walther HK416 .22LR pistol, and got a nice product at a great price with prompt shipping.

Thought I'd share my experience to show that not everyone has bad dealings with this retailer.

I actually did give them another chance recently I e-mailed them about this and asked what their lead time for delivery was a couple days ago but still never heard back. I can only assume that they are still backed up at this point.although they now have an active web chat available which eases my concerns a little.

Ok just to follow up here I finally received a response in regards to my E-mail today only 15 short days later...... I think I'll wait to order from this company again I think that they are still behind.

Wonder what's so "magical" about some people getting their orders so quickly? Maybe they are fictitious accounts? I can say between the horrendous wait time, zero response from "customer service" when trying to get order status and lackluster products - that should have been enough. But yes, I was a sucker and actually responded to a few of their - "review the product you bought" emails only to see they never publish anything negative. Not like it was scathing either - simply what I experienced. I sent a follow-up email to them asking why none of the reviews ever went live and guess what - NO RESPONSE! This company is SH!T in my book and would never buy anything from them again. While I can only share my personal experiences with them - I somehow doubt most people wouldn't encounter the same. Order was pretty simply: Drop-in trigger, AR buffer, etc. Chances are they don't actually stock the parts and are simply a storefront ordering from a larger distribution with their mark-up added.

Funny, I've never received a single email from this company since my small order was fulfilled, and promptly, as I stated before. But if it's easier for some butthurt users on here to believe that I'm some "fictitious account" making up a story of a positive experience for shits and giggles, well, whatever makes you feel better I suppose.

where as I doubt your an employee of the company based on the length of time you've been a member and the number of posts I do not see how calling people names is useful. They are providing their experiences just as you did yours, and for the record there is at least one positive review here that is most likely from a company employee.
I did ask how long ago you ordered as well to determine if it was just an issue with timeframe (IE gun craze) or just luck but you provided no response which possibly prompted others to come to the conclusion that you may be bit nobody outright said it.

Now it was suggested that some accounts were possibly fictitious (which I absolutely believe to be the truth in some cases....see above) However based on my experience with this company and quite a lot of other peoples at this time they are slow to ship, they do not respond to any inquires normally and if they do then it's weeks if not months later and they do not actually keep live inventory updated on their website yet immediately charge your cc when you order and then do not ship immediately(generally it is a requirement IE law that if you charge a cc you are shipping the product or you wit until you have it in stock in order to charge for it.)

Again I personally ordered once and found several bad reviews after the fact. It took over a month to get my stuff and it was decent enough but for the hassle and lack of follow up to questions and the general business practices of charging me and not having the parts in stock well I am not a fan of this company.
