It boasts an authentic Mil-Spec Polish Receiver and Barrel, along with several traditional Eastern Bloc features expected from a Polish-origin military rifle. This model is equipped with a sling swivel, an innovative bolt hold open safety lever, and a robust, lightweight black polymer furniture package that is resistant to scratches and features a Mil-Spec under-fold stock that operates with a push-button mechanism, securely locking in both extended and folded positions. The rifle also incorporates the newly developed Pioneer Arms – Premium Grade Hand Polished AK 47 Fire Control Group and an internal side retention plate for a superiorly smooth trigger operation. It uses Polish-made 30 Round 5.56 NATO AK magazines, with each unit coming with 2 magazines. Distinguishing itself from many domestically produced AK variants, this rifle undergoes crucial processes like rivet work and head spacing in Poland, ensuring top-notch quality and consistency. The Pioneer AK Sporter shares key components such as the primary receiver, trunnion, and bolt carrier group with Pioneer Arms' select-fire military rifles. Interestingly, it includes the same front trunnion as the full-auto AKs manufactured for military use globally.
