Under $425 including USPS shipping to FFL at Gilberts
The website forces you to either select a dealer they want to ship to or you must have, in your possession, an image of your local FFL dealer license to upload. I previously had my FFL set up in my profile, but they removed my default FFL from thier data base and then while I am paying I am stopped in my tracks. Their site says you can have your FFL send them a copy of their license, but you can not process the order paqyment without uploading an image of your dealer's ffl. Who the hell has an image of their gun shop's ffl let alone at 8:00 PM? I don't know how much bullshit they expect customers to deal with, but they might want to check and see how other online sellers handle this FFL issue. They just lost a sale. I have no intention of jumping through extra hoops for these amateurs or spending hours making a damn firearm purchase due to NON CUSTOMER CONCENTRIC horse shit. Much simpler to just move on to one of the other hundred or so online dealers, shop and eliminate the ignorant crapola.
They used to be top on my list. Don't care for the changes either.
I've got both of my FFLs licenses saved on my computer. It's not unusual to have a copy of your dealer's license.
My dealer wont give it up and I'm not going to bust his chops when I pay $15.00 per transfer. I have never, in decades of gun buying had an online dealer block a gun sale because I didn't have a photocopy of a gun dealers license. I ain't even buying into that BS. Too many dealers to get my panties twisted over this one.
My I.O. Told me to protect mine like my ss#. A little whiteout and someone could be getting guns shipped under my license. No thanks. Your dealer is smart
Site says it comes with 2 mags. Where do you see 3?
GLOCK makes fn's barrels, and Sig makes their springs and trigger. This gun was made to the best specs. I don't have one, but i hear it's the best gun out there.
I don’t have a 509 but I have an FNP-40. It’s a decent gun, I wouldn’t necessarily put it above Glock or SIG but I haven’t had any hiccups so far with it. I wouldn’t go so far to say it’s the best either
This is a great price. My local gun shops are selling for $615.00. Best price they could do was $575 plus tax. I picked this gun up for $449 plus $25 transfer fee. Plus they throw in a soft case for it. Great buy guys and gals.
$449 = best price , + 3 mag promo and smoky mtn throws in a pistol rug , sweet
it will fit nicely between my FNSc and 2 Longslides - all my FN triggers break crisply between 5.5 and 6 lbs
I have the FNS and love the trigger, so have been jonesing for the FN-509. Been waiting for the price to fall more. This is the best price right now on it, plus the mag rebate that ends soon. Just wish it would hit $399
Went to the gun store to play with the new so called wonder nine's and maybe pick one up and I have to say they are all trash but this one is by far the worst. The trigger SUUUUUCKS the gun feels like a cheap toy. The p10 is almost as bad. Don't fall for all hype, the HK and the PPQ is by far the best plastic guns out there. Hell the truth is the Taurus pt111 is better then this turd in every way and I'm no Taurus lover but the truth is the truth.
Admittedly I was very excited about the P10c and was underwhelmed when I was able to see it in person. The 2.0 Compact is far better made and just small enough to conceal. I have a VP9 as well and the P10c from a well made standpoint is not close
...I looked at this too and there was nothing to it that made me want to buy it over the other options out there. I’ll likely get the 2.0 Compact
I have been on the fence about this gun. I actually thought the same thing so I bought a couple of Taurus. I agree, this gun is cheap and not that great at all. Thanks for your opinion, it helped me settle on what I already thought.
Wow someone not looking for a fight. Nice! Nothing but assholes on this sight anymore. I was starting to think only dick heads buy guns anymore. Thanks!
I think it would be nice if we stated our opinion on a particular gun and moved on. When I post a review its my experience with that gun and thats what I appreciate from others. Totally agree with you on the fight picking thing. It seems most people on here are looking to stir something up which really sucks!!
Oh, and it only comes with 2 magazines? Why wouldnt I buy an FNS which is a much better gun in my opinion and comes with 3 magazines? Just sayin.
I agree 110% bigdog1....I shot 1 at my local range...trash...is the right word...We Wiil stick to our Walthers...my PPQ & my wife's PPX...Put it to Shame & your correct also about the TaurusPT111 is our car gun!!!....The Taurus is not.in the class of our Walthers but even it feels & shoots better than the FN...Nope...not a fan at all...I knew after 1/2 a clip it wasn't for me...way over priced & hyped!!!...Hell I only paid 249.00 for the wife's PPX & it's a Cadillac in comparison...her brother picked up a Walther Creed for I think 269.00...I don't get the fact that some people think you have to pay 700 or 800 bucks or more to get a good gun!...Well I guess they have never heard of Walther!!!...I just turned 60 yrs old & have been shooting...buying...selling & trading guns since I was 11 yrs old...Got a Mossberg 3 shot bolt action 410...My best Christmas ever & I still have it & it's in pristine shape!!!...And for Quality to cost....I will be sticking to my Walther...they shoot great...function great ...are durable & for my.liking have the Best stock trigger in the business!!!!...I hope this helps someone out there...Have a Happy New Year Everyone & Happy Shooting!!!
