The NBS .223/5.56 DLC Bolt Carrier Group was designed with strength in mind. Starting with a 9310 Steel Bolt, which is aircraft-grade material, this bolt has a high core strength rating, a high fatigue strength, and a high hardenability rating. 9310 steel, when treated properly, is about 7% better than Carpenter 158 steel, so you know that you will have a dependable BCG, when you drop this into your rifle.
This NBS BCG (Bolt Carrier Group) has been DLC Coated, so that it can provide a long-lasting experience, and provide a significant upgrade to your AR-15.
DLC is quickly becoming one of the most desirable finishes for critical weapon components for the following reasons:
- Hardness (Rockwell) – Greater hardness rating compared to unpolished Nickel Boron (90RC vs 82RC)
- Coefficient of Friction – Lower coefficient of friction compared to Nickel Boron (.15 vs .5-.8)

I've dealt with ar15discounts. I like 'em. They've treated me well. They offer free shipping for orders of $150 and above. (sometimes offer free shipping for specials priced less)
In this particular case I'd go with the toolcraft from wcarmory vs the NBS from ar15discounts. A well known brand with a great reputation, lower total cost and a better warranty.
wcarmory doesn't charge tax for GA residents, which has become rare. My total cost for the toolcraft from them would be $119.13.

I didn't see that particular BCG being offered on ar15discounts. Scroll to the bottom of a page at dirtybirdusa and compare the "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy to the same policy shown at the same place on the ar15discounts site. The policy at dirtybirdusa sounds better.
