PSA sells their "blems" at least twice a year, for $99. They're great duty BCGs. I buy in bulk; waiting may not make sense for you.

PSA doesn’t sell microbest bcgs. PSA makes Toolcraft, and there bolt head is sourced from a third-party

You say PSA makes Toolcraft. Don't think so, and I've never heard that. Toolcraft is in NC, in business nearly 50yrs. PSA in SC, in business going on 20. According to BBB they are completely separate entities. As I understand Toolcraft is a DoD supplier of BCG's and sells to many US businesses.

“Yes. Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is part of JJE Capital Holdings, a parent company and private equity firm that also owns Toolcraft InC.. Toolcraft is a major manufacturer of Bolt Carrier Groups (BCGs) and other rifle components.
Because JJE owns both brands, PSA is able to utilize Toolcraft extensively across their products, such as in the PSA Premium BCGs.

Good morning fellow gun owner. I'm sorry if there is a misunderstanding here regarding information exchange. My comment was not meant as a personal attack. You stated PSA makes Toolcraft, and provided no details to corroborate. I hadn't heard that PSA makes Toolcraft, and being a long-term customer of both and after briefly checking on the background of both companies thru the years I found no correlation. I was aware of JJE Capital Holdings and their portfolio of businesses they owned, but not in detail. Today I checked and see this list..... https://jjech.com/portfolio-companies/.... I see AAC, AAC Ammo, Caliber Coffee, Commercial Prop of SC, DC Machine, DPMS, Ferrous E&T, H&R, Lead Star, PSA Defense, PSA, Palmetto Outdoor Shooting, Right to Bear, Soviet Arms, Special Tool, Spartan Forge, and Kronos. I don't see Toolcraft listed as owned by JJE Capital Holdings. Is Toolcraft part of one of the aforementioned businesses? I've searched PSA and Toolcraft backgrounds and still do not see that PSA makes Toolcraft. A simple search of "does PSA make Toolcraft ?" yields this Google response: "PSA does not make Toolcraft; rather, PSA sources some of its bolt carrier groups (BCGs) from Toolcraft. Toolcraft manufactures premium BCGs that are used by various manufacturers, including PSA." I am admittedly ignorant as to the inner workings of multi-million dollar corporations, the terminologies they use or the sleight of hand in business practices but I just simply don't see that "PSA makes Toolcraft." Is there further misunderstanding here, or can you provide a link which confirms your statement? Thank you

6/22/2026 - I'm now convinced that RainbowDiddles is (mostly) correct. The only reason I say "mostly" is because I disagree with the phrase; "PSA makes Toolcraft". And I don't consider that to be anywhere near a big deal .... it's just a minor thing to me.
This video I found removed all doubt from my mind that Toolcraft Inc. is under the JJE Capital Holdings umbrella. I don't know why Toolcraft Inc. isn't shown on JJE's portfolio page ... seems to me it should and would be. Like you, I didn't think Toolcraft was associated with JJE prior to watching this 2 year old video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQo8UYqMfGg...

Thank you for that link, which I believe is evidence that JJE Holdings owns Toolcraft. That is news to me, and as a 2yro video I should have known. I avoid Youtube so that's not too surprising. Very strange they're not listed. Like you said, that fact doesn't mean PSA makes Toolcraft, nor does it mean PSA makes all the other brands under JJE, or that Kronos Knives makes PSA, etc. I respected Toolcraft's history as a highly regarded OEM provider, far in advance of PSA or JJE, so this is slightly disappointing. I hope the quality can be maintained. As gun owners using a gunsite you have been helpful w/o the attitude. Thank you

Bro lmao don’t act hurt because your were wrong. JJE owns them all, so are all the same entity. You are the one who responded to me so confidently with “I don’t think so” instead of doing your research like I have

PSA sells their "blems" 87 weeks a year plus 31 days in February ;)

*FWIW, I personally think PSA uses "blem" to do heavy mark downs off their (pretend) sale prices so they do not erode their (pretend) markdowns which rotate on and off, sometimes hourly.

Not exactly sure why but it seems the price is constantly changing? It's $109 on the site and the coupon codes are either no longer able or they've expired. I even tried using the new customer and "sign up for texts" codes and they didn't work. Someone at AR-15 discounts needs to sort this out of remove the ad.

10/26/25 - AR15Discounts didn't post this ad/deal so they don't have control over it. Now that the seller has it "Sale!" priced at $109.95 it is "Excluded from additional discounts", as seen directly below the price on the product page of the seller's website. From what I've observed, all of their "Sale!" items are always excluded from additional discounts, such as coupon codes. Some of their items that don't show that "Sale!" icon/logo/tag are also excluded from additional discounts, such as this Toolcraft Nickel Boron BCG:
https://ar15discounts.com/products/toolcraft-223-5-56-300blk-m16-profile-bolt-carrier-group-nickel-boron/...
They currently have this Toolcraft Black Nitride BCG priced at $99.95:
https://ar15discounts.com/products/toolcraft-223-5-56-300blk-m16-profile-bolt-carrier-group-black-nitride/...
If you use their suggested 12% off code "HALLOWSEVE12" it knocks $11.99 off bringing the price down to $87.96.
If you use the code I posted on 10/10/25 in this thread below, "LTR_7J5CW7GH", it will knock 20% ($19.99) off the Toolcraft BCG bringing the price down to $79.96. At this time, code "LTR_PUNZ6W2X" is also valid for 20% off all of this seller's products that aren't designated as being "Excluded from additional discounts". Keep in-mind that sellers can stop accepting codes and/or exclude items from additional discounts at any time and there isn't anything that any of us can do about it (that I'm aware of). I don't know why a knucklehead down-voted my 10/10/25 post below. It was accurate at the time I posted it, just as this post is accurate at the time of posting. For various reasons, "deals" posted to this website generally are not valid forever. Products go OOS, codes become invalid, sale prices end and the prices will jump much higher ... etc. Several times I've seen some doofus post a comment calling a deal a "SCAM!" just because the sale price shown has ended and they see a higher price on the seller's website. The mods rely on us users to use the "Report Product" function of the website to let them know when a deal is no longer as listed. When reported, they usually get the problem corrected fairly quick, especially on weekdays, it may take them a little longer to get to it on the weekends. I'm gonna report this Microbest BCG deal now. I don't know if they will correct it to reflect the current $109.95 price or just mark the deal as expired. I'll probably mention to them that the $109.95 price is still a decent deal so they might just change/correct the price shown .... but the final decision is totally up to them. I wish more folks would start using the "Report Product" function of this website when they find an inaccurate listing to help the mods keep the listings up-to-date, valid and accurate.

Hey thanks for the coupon code! It saved 20% off my entire order! As long as the items weren't excluded from additional discounts. Anyway saved over $300 so thanks again.

heh heh .... see what I spoke of? I went through the simple "Report Product" process of the website to alert the mod/s on duty of the problem/inaccuracy of this listing and when they learned of it due to my report they edited/fixed it. Easy-peezy. The mods aren't able to to continuously stay on top of and verify the accuracy of every listing on this rather massive website. They can't fix a problem that they are not aware of. Please start using the "Report Product" function of this website when you find an inaccurate listing to help the mods keep the listings up-to-date, valid and accurate.
