Junk! Jammed out at the range cleared it by pulling the charging handle down and slamming the butt on the table round flew out. Stopped shooting it . Took it home to clean it went to tear it down and a round fell out . I say junk cause this piece of shit has no sight of round chamber

728$ after shipping is one of the best if no the best deal I've seen so far (posting to keep track)

Way too many random reliability issues and failures on ktog for me to take a chance..

Look on Utube for just 1 bad review and you will find nothing but people that caused the problem in the first place. The RDB "not the RFB" is the best Bullpup in the $700 - $2,000 price range, if u want better, buy a MDR. I know this from rigorous usage of the top 3 bullpups and yes in my opinion the Tavor is in 3nd place and I love IWI products. :-(

I must have found a winner. The RDB is absolutely the best shooter I own. Have about 8000 rounds down range, and NEVER had one issue. Screws tight, shoots 1/2" at 100 yards consistently. Reaches out to 500 yards with no problem. Holds zero with a romeo 5. I have no complaints.

I'm going to call BS on that one... The screws inherently come loose and anyone claiming to reach 8K rounds without loctite or constantly tightening them is full of it. Then again - if you can shoot to 500 yds accurately with a Romeo 5 then that's superhuman. The gun will easily go farther than 500 yards - the problem is hitting anything with the horrible accuracy. Most users are seeing 5-6 MOA. That's a 5-6 inch spread at 100 yards. Multiple those numbers by 5 and you're shooting 25-30 inches at 500 yards. I've seen a few guys try them at shooting matches and profanity fills the air on the longer shots as they keep missing targets. For now it's a range toy - perhaps later models will address the plethora of issues the first one has demonstrated.

Waiting for Tavor 7 now. I want a reliable bullpup for my bugout bag and keltec seems to have too many issues

The biggest issue with these RFBs seems to be gas settings as most shooters aren't familiar with a 20 place +/- gas block. 5 from closed is the factory setting. There have been numerous quirks reported such as broken firing pins, bolt pin coming out and so on. The biggest issue I've had is the screws coming loose - especially on the top rail. All of a sudden your normal 6+ MOA with this gun gets worse and then you figure out the screws mounting the rail the optics attach to are loose - or worse GONE! Make sure you loctite these and other screws to avoid problems. Red loctite is the best.

The trigger is quite good for bullpup standards - in fact excellent for a bullpup. The long stroke adjustable gas piston is great too. I can't stress enough how important gas adjustment is with this gun. Too little and you're short stroking and too much you double feed. Either way it's a problem so very important to do the proper gas setup and be aware of this. The gun ejects downward past the magazine so clearing a jam isn't as easy as one would expect.

The accuracy hasn't been the best and is thought to be how the handguard attaches to the barrel. Best not to shoot from a gun support if you want accuracy. People have said using a bag is better but the results are still worse than most AKMs. I mostly shoot steel with mine and leave the pinpoint accuracy to other guns. This one is soft shooting and fun. Good to finally see the prices getting more realistic. I've heard others say this should be a $500-$600 gun tops and tend to agree with them. Funny they were selling as high as $1200+ on Gunbroker just because they were new.

I wouldn't compare this to the Tavor other than they are bullpup rifles in the same caliber. The Tavor is much more robust and reliable. The Tavor also has built in BUIS and aftermarket support - but the biggest is reliability. As the RDB comes down in price it makes more sense for the average shooter but the guns are very different.

Great, but we are talking about the RDB.

Whoops - I meant RDB and would guess you would have figured that out reading the post. The RFB doesn't have any of the issues mentioned with the RDB and I'd be skeptical of anyone pushing the gun as reliable, accurate, etc. Basically anything other than a range toy.

Look, I think KelTec is extremely innovative (I love it), but doesn't their QC suck? Meaning, why consider a $900 rifle with no common parts to anything else from a company that ALWAYS has to make gen 2.0, gen 3.0, gen X...as soon as it is released.

I wish it wasn't this way so bad but oh well. Such is life.

These are a lot of gun for the money. Has some advantages over the Tavor: https://youtu.be/KA6wxbJRoyc...

I wonder if there's a 10rd mag for this gun so I can have it in CA, and not leave it in Nevada like a lot of my guns are

10rd pmag fits flush like it was meant to be :-). Oh ya and btw the tavor will F up more then this little baby but the MDR is the best bullpup at this time

Watch NutNfancy's review on YouTube for more details, but it has an excellent trigger by bullpup standards.

They are in stock at 899 from time to time If you watch. Picked mine up 8 months ago or so. Love it! Great little gun. Something different for sure. Without the Tavor or Steyr price tag. Only grip is Handguard. Feels kinda cheap but not had any problems. There are supposed to be aftermarket options coming.l but could be awhile.

I'm picking mine up from FFL today, bought from Budsgunshop for $924 shipped, and it shipped same day. It was in stock for weeks, OOS now. I'd say anything over $1000 is NOT a deal. This is $1120 after shipping :/
