Description

The Super Duty Rifle features the latest in weapon technology available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. This 16” rifle chambered in 5.56mm features a Nanoweapon coated Surefire Closed-Tine Warcomp mounted to an in-house 16” Mag Phosphated Cold Hammer Forge, Chrome Lined, 1-7 twist Geissele barrel. Our barrels are precision machined and cold hammer forged utilizing the highest quality materials at our state of the art facility in North Wales, PA. The Super Mid-length gas system and Geissele Super Compact Gas Block (with bomb-proof installation) ensures reliability and optimal performance in extreme conditions and heavy use.
Exclusive to the Super Duty 16” Rifle is the brand new SSA-E X with Lighting Bow trigger. This nanocoated, two-stage trigger features a wide body and bow shape that finds the perfect balance between a classic M4 trigger and a flat body trigger. At the heart of this rifle is the Geissele REBCG (Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group). This Nanoweapon coated BCG is machined from mil-spec 8620 steel, with a properly torqued and staked, chrome lined gas key. The Cam Pin is machined from advanced, medical steel known as H13 which is also coated with Nanoweapon for maximum corrosion and wear resistance. The REBCG also features extended upper rails, providing greater stability and dramatically increasing feeding reliability.
The REBCG comes with the Geissele Stressproof Bolt. Made from Carpenter 158+, directly developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to create a material that is cleaner and has less impurities. This makes our Stressproof bolt stronger and more fatigue resistant. The Geissele Stressproof bolt is also forged, not machined from barstock. This allows us to optimize the grain structure of the steel to yield a bolt capable of 5 times the life of a mil-spec bolt. Each bolt is rigorously inspected, high pressure tested, mag particle inspected and Nanoweapon coated.
The Super Duty lower is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features Geissele’s Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit featuring our Ambidextrous Super Configurable safety and Ultra Precision trigger guard. A high quality mil-spec Geissele Buffer Tube with a Super-42 in H2 buffer ensures this rifle is properly tuned out of the box.
Rounding up the package is a 15” MK16 Super Modular Rail, that mates to the Super Duty Upper Receiver via a center aligning tab that removes any chance of rail rotation. The MK16 family of rails are fielded by USASOC and renowned by operators for their performance and comfort. An Airborne Charging Handle, ensure smooth and reliable operation.
A classic A2 style grip and a B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmod Stock finalizes this high-end rifle that offers the user unmatched accuracy and performance. What is Geissele Nanoweapon?
Geissele Nanoweapon (also known as Picatinny DSL) is a family of Durable Solid Lubricant coatings which was developed by ARDEC. It is available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. We continued the development of Picatinny DSL so that its level of corrosion, wear and abrasion resistance is currently unmatched among firearm coatings. Nanoweapon is applied at low temperatures so that the underlying metallurgy of the part is non effected by the application process. Our coating also has a surface hardness roughly equivalent to synthetic diamond. This makes Geissele Nanoweapon harder than sand, easily rejecting carbon and making cleaning a breeze, on top of allowing the firearm to operate normally with less lubrication.

If not buying a top tier $2300 rifle for $1500, is it doesn't come with a magazine then you were never really in the market to buy one in the first place, a lot of states now have capacity limits on their mags, so instead of making their customer a felon, they choose not to include the $12.99 PMAG

AARon, My brother in Christ almighty. This is got to be the most ridiculous shit I’ve ever heard. If you were like the rest of us, I’m sure if you have 40-50 mags in your possession. Please check yourself.

To A-Aron80: Please! You must be kidding, right? You won't buy a $1650 top quality AR because they don't include a magazine that can be bought for $12.95 at most?? The reason they don't include it is that there are now so many states that limit mag size to 10 rounds that their shipping and packing dept has to be V-E-R-Y careful if they mistakenly send a 30 rounder to a 10 rounder state. While this may sound like a simple logistical problem to solve, please recall that it is now no longer easy to get experienced employees who can perform with 100% accuracy in ensuring that the correct mag is packed with a gun being sent to a 10 round state vs. a 30 round state. And if he makes a mistake these days - particularly in a Democrat-controlled gun-hating state - the cost to the retailer to defend itself in a totally biased court could- literally- put it out of business. And - not incidentally- for the price that Brownell's is asking for these Geisseles, I'll be happy to fork over another $75 to get the mags that are legal in my state. Have a good weekend!

Lol. I got more NFA tax stamps than I can remember. Selling a gun without a magazine is fucking lame.

Blame Anti-2A State Governments. It's an AR-15. You can buy whatever AR-15 magazines on offer in your state. If you don't already have a magazine for it, why are you dropping nearly $1,600 on an AR-15?
