The P-07's standout feature is its convertible decocker/safety system, enabling users to switch between cocked-and-locked carry or a double-action first pull with ease. The P-07 received significant updates in 2014, including the removal of sharp edges, the addition of forward cocking serrations, and interchangeable backstraps. Enhancements such as metal sights, a redesigned trigger and hammer, and a fiber-reinforced polymer frame improved its comfort, adaptability, and durability. The P-07 Duty, the initial model of CZ’s polymer pistol series, incorporated lessons from the P01 and PCR pistols, featuring a new Omega trigger system, changeable grip backstraps, and reinforced wear components. Despite early cosmetic issues with frame bulge, the P-07 evolved with the introduction of the P09, which offered a larger capacity and further refinements. The redesigned P-07, known as the Series 2, integrates these improvements, making it a versatile, durable, and user-friendly option in the DA/SA polymer pistol market.
