Wanted to share a recent ordering experience with them since everyone is so full of angst about how long it takes them to ship.
I ordered this lower on Friday, May 1st. It shipped on Monday, May 4th. Arrived at my LGS on Wednesday, May 6th. (I live in Ohio.) On the same day I ordered an upper. It shipped on May 5th and is scheduled to arrive on May 7th.
5 and 6 days total for my two orders? I'll take it.
I second that. psa has gotten their act together in the shipping department. I however didn't have a problem before with their slow shipping because of their prices. I can look past that for cheaper and quality products and zombie apocalypse can wait.
I shop from PSA all the time, but this the shipping on this one is a joke. If you try to order a bunch to reduce your FFL cost per item, it keeps pumping $17 per lower in your total for shipping. WTF?
They are tucking too much of the price in the shipping. It is very misleading. You can buy these cheaper by buying PSA or Anderson lowers and waiting for the other build kits to go on sale. Build kits are usually normal shipping.
The fluted buffer tube PSA uses on their pistol builds is a larger outside diameter than a Milspec tube. Some after market buffer tube cheek risers will not slip onto this.
