But the Chest Rig also already includes what's needed to mount to most carriers: The featured swift clips attach to your carrier and function as a boost to your customizability. Instead of switching each individual magazine, medical kit or other tool, use a setup already put on your Chest Rig. Unlike most rigs on the market, Armored Republic’s design also incorporates 3 rows of MOLLE webbing on the external so you can mount additional pouches for customization. One benefit of this is the included MOLLE extension wings that accommodate additional pouch mounting. Wings allow the mounting of pouches to the left and right of the Rig and are removable when not in use. Another feature is the removable hook cover on the back of the Chest Rig. This Velcro backside cover is used to prevent snagging on t-shirts, and when removed, allows securement to a carrier without a cummerbund flap. All pouches are made of the 500D Cordura® we favor for its balance of strength, rigidity, and flexibility. The General Purpose Pouch is a rugged, 6.5”x6”x3” MOLLE-compatible pouch, large enough to store most smaller items like GPS or small binoculars, with an internal divider for simple organization and a Velcro® patch panel on the front. Another flexible piece of gear to complete the kit. Each pouch of the Multi-Caliber Pistol Magazine Double Pouch accommodates two magazines of all common pistol rounds in single or double stack form, from .22LR to .50AE, and everything in between- even Five-Seven. That being said, it’s a perfect way to keep needed ammo on hand, with no significant weight addition at just 1.9 ounces.  The Tourniquet Pouch is a compact pouch built to carry a tourniquet device alongside an IFAK, magazine pouches, or any other accessories. It is MOLLE-compatible, so it can attach to your Freeman or any other part of your loadout.
