Received this today... I'm sure it's manufactured by BA, but it's branded Aero Precision (just the small "A" logo on top of the barrel). Seems to be of good quality... just waiting for my YHM R9 to get out of jail and I'll reassemble my PCC with this and a 9" handguard with 1.8" ID to tuck the can.
Two questions - how does the feed ramp look? I have a 8.5" BA barrel and the feed ramps look good but I have yet to shoot it. Curious if the one you got looks good since I'm also in the market for a 5.5".
Second, which handguard did you go with for your PCC? I am having a hard time finding decent options in the 7-9" range that can accommodate a can.
The feed ramps look about the same as the 7" Tacfire that came in my upper, that's my only point of comparison for AR9...
I went with the Tacfun Keymod 9" 1.8" ID non-slim because it was cheap, fat, in-stock, and buying the same 10" for my 300BLK got me to free shipping. They make an equivalent model in M-Lok, but it's only currently in stock in 15". I'll mount a knockoff mini Scout from the top pic-rail with the pivot, so the only accessories I'll have to re-buy in Keymod are a QD sling mount and a BCM Angled Grip.
I wanted to go with one of the Tacfun CF handguards, but the sizes I wanted weren't in stock.
