Description

The AR-12 not only resembles the AR-15 / M16 rifle but the control and function are similar. There have been a couple of variations of these on the market in the past with varying degrees of success but with the AR-12 we think that Leader Arms Technologies of Turkey has finally hit on the ultimate combination of design and features. This shotgun has beautifully styled polymer furniture that has a great feel similar to Houge. Butt stock has a built in recoil pad with an ergonomic pistol grip. Flat top receiver with a full weaver rail . Forearm has a great futuristic and ergonomic design with a quad rail molded in to the top as well as a light attachment molded in to the front of the fore end. Barrel is threaded for choke tubes and firearm comes complete 3 choke tubes and 2 all steel 5 round mags. Although these are brand new factory firearms, due to the factors listed below we are selling these As Is with No Returns Accepted.

The vendor is selling these "AS IS, no returns accepted".

That doesn't sound too cool.

Plus, it's basically on you to use high brass for a rather lengthy "break-in period". That should drive the cost up a bit.

I guess their own disclaimer says it best:

"Bottom line - If you are uncomfortable in taking a chance on this firearm working properly, with the shells that you may want to use, then do not buy it. "

Read the disclaimer on their website about how unreliable they are. They are even being sold "as is."

I bought one of these about a year ago and it is a fun gun to have. It shoots great and I have had no issues. Does require high velocity loads to cycle properly. I shoot clays with mine regularly. Also you can buy a new spring to install so it will cycle with the lower velocity loads. Promag is in the process of making a drum mag for this shotgun according to their customer service.

While I am not a big fan of Classic Firearms, I do appreciate their honest disclaimer about this product, which talked me out of buying and most likely being unhappy.
