Bought 2 as well.

Both ran fine on included battery. Mounted on an G19, P10C, GX4 Carry, Canik Rival, Dagger Compact, and Stoeger full size. Buttons activated in a lateral manner and quite stiff. Expect 2-3x as much force to activate as the almost too easy TLR 7 series high switches. Because of the relation of the buttons to your support hand thumb/trigger finger combined with the force to activate I WOULD NOT reccomend them on any of the above pistols unless your hands are on the large to abnormally large size. During activation your sight picture will more likely than night be affected negatively. Also, veeeery few holsters available for this. Although it “may” fit some TLR-7 holsters as it could be forced in to the GX4 Carry and G19 TLR-7 holsters I tried. The light is a similar form factor TLR-7 but not the same.

HOWEVER; Where this little light shines is mounted in the 12 or 9/3 o’clock postion (dominant hand depending).

Placed it at the 12 spot on an AR 9, AK/AR variant as well as 9mm SBR/PCC variant as well as at 3 on a pistol chasis system and because of the lateral button activation this light was perfect for those carbine-like/large format pistols. The button stiffness was almost a non/factor due to the type of force your thumb can generate in a more “C” clamp style/even magwell style grip.

Tested this side by side with the TLR-7 and mounted upside down as well the activation was easy too, but honestly did not have as sleek of an apperance as the Foxtrot did. Also, the TLR-7 suffered in activation comparitively at the 3/9 postions.

As for light output perfomance is was nearly the same lumens wise. But the Foxtrot destroys the TLR-7 in throw (candela), as it should. Quoting a phone conversation Sig Optics rep in Oregon last week, “It has around 10,000 candela”

TLR-7 is advertised around 5,000

Caveat; I could not find data on the emitter performance for this one, but on its big brother, and it seems like it would beg to reason that this has a similar emitter performance/regulation.

In those comparisons, the TLR-7, though dimmer and with less of a projected hotspot is a clear winner for prolonged to use up to about an hour.

In my personal testing, and in other peoples’ independent testing of the big brother, that one was really bright with fantastic throw inside the first three minutes and total performance started to really dive after about 10 minutes in both lumens & candela. Keep in mind that is near continous use.

If you need it to really last, go with the TLR-7, not too mention current holster compatiabilty. But bedside on a rifle where engagements are likely over in under seconds/minutes this Foxtrot thrashes the TLR-7.

Thank you, Sir. Too kind with your words.

You bring a lot of value to this platform as well with your reviews/comments as well, I see you too!

Btw, speaking of the comments you post do you have the same problem I seem to have where I certainly proofread everything but then once it posts, there’s all sorts of puncuation, grammatical and spelling errors in the post? Have you had that problem with this platform as well?

Great price, so I bought two. Unboxed. Tested, and both didn't work. Both units flicker quickly, then batteries die. Replaced with fresh batteries but same thing happened. I had to return both and requested a refund. Items looked solid but I was disappointed.

Best cheap weapon lights! I have bought a few of the wide variety of lights on, and off brand and for 50-60 bucks these are great lights! Yeah surefire and streamlight are best but man these are great for 60 bucks. Terrific light, pretty tight beam, but bright! I own three. You can get them on sale from PSA a lot.
