I have not decided whether I will purchase the CZ P10 as I already have enough 9mm guns. I love my Walther PPQ so much, I ended up buying 4 of them. But ever since I bought the Sig P320 in .357 flavor, I have never went back to 9mm again. I am not sure buying this gun makes sense since I would never carry for conceal carry.

I just don't see the transition from the p09 to this. The cz p09 was a beautiful weapon. This on the other hand...well it just isn't. I hope they get it back on track with the next model.

What chu talkin bout Willis? I guess "Different Strokes" for different folks. I love my CZs, but my PPQ M1 serves me well right now as my plastic fantastic. I dont shoot glocks well but I dont dog them. I agree, there is all this chatter on a gun with no track record. I think shoot what you like, shoot often.

what's the big hype behind these??? have a glock 19 already and love it.

Calm down pals..

This is a very good gun. I paid $460 at my local gun shop. Switched out front sight to fiber optic and it's already one of my best shooters.. I don't have to spend $100 plus on the trigger.. I don't need talon grips.... It fits in 2 of my glock 19 holsters.. (not selling my glocks) I owned a PPQ and yes the trigger is better on the PPQ but the grip was too short for me. So it's a gun.. Buy it or not. but it is a very good gun.

I figured I would buy one when it's wasn't going for MSRP. I can wait. This gun is worth about 400 to me based on other purchases of mine. Love CZs and own a few. But I am not overpaying just to have it first.

CZ are famous, but there are many better guns for the price, especially with all the rebates going on.

S & W, Springfield. They are giving away anything .40 cal. these days. Get a NEW Glock, FNX, etc. in 40, get a 9 barrel for it and maybe some 9mm mags to make it work right and "bang"... Two options for not much more than the price of one.

Pleaseee someone tell me why anyone cares that much about this gun? If offers (nothing?) new? People act like this is a game changer. I haven't seen this much consumer-originated hype for a new polymer striker handgun in my whole life.

I'm with you CavScout. I have several different mfgs. products in my safe and would like to check out this new offering as well. I guess some people take the "Tribal" thing too far. "UGG... ME have CZ... you NO have CZ...YOU bad! Pride and insecurity are the reasons "fan boys" exist.

So my comment gets downvoted... but no answer to my question... probably because there's no good answer.

Ohh please, shut up, I own 17 CZ's. But, I'm not rushing and putting money on a gun to pre order one. Why? This is supposed to be a mass produced CZ polymer pistol not some limited production rare pistol, that you need to pre order one. And, CZ already made two announcement postponing the release dates. I'll just buy one when it's officially released from my FFL.

Cancel and reorder, easy.

Haha, now it's $479. Do you people feel stupid for paying $499 to preorder only to be told now it's a 11-12 weeks wait, plus now they're offering it at $479 with promo code.

If $20 is a big blow to your finances, firearms isn't something you should get into. The order can be cancelled at any time. I'd suggest you take up a part-time job mowing lawns so you can still make your trailer house rent payment.

CZ USA is claiming a late April release. From their Facebook page on Feb 15:

"Yesterday we received word that our parent company, CZUB, has experienced further delays in the production of the P-10 C. Since SHOT Show, our ETA on the first shipment has been bumped back every few days. Discussions with the factory revealed that the realistic date for first delivery is in late April. We apologize for the delay, we truly expected to begin delivery in January."

Looks like this is going to be a great firearm, but Cabela's "jumped the gun" by taking preorders this long before availability.

This is stupid. Pay list price, plus tax most likely and wait 3 months. CZ is really dropping the ball here

Now showing 18-19 weeks for availability. I wouldn't consider purchasing from Cabelas except that I have a $250 gift card to burn up.

11 to 12 weeks estimated shipping, could easily be double that. So pay full retail and wait months for delivery? I guess there is a market for rabid CZ fans, how many are actually going for this deal? I am fairly interested but would have to see one first.

I grabbed one a few weeks back and my order history now says 1-2 weeks. I saw on a forum that these might not be available until April.

Andy:

Was that from Cabelas? Cabelas has actually increased their time for delivery to 18 -19 weeks.

Yes it is a BFD! Glock clone without the POS trigger! If glock would actually try to make improvements to their pistol instead of arrogantly thinking it's "Glock perfection" maybe they wouldn't have lost the latest military contract. All firearm manufacturers should strive for perfection but none have achieved it. However their are several closer than glock including HK vp9, Walther PPQ, Sig p320 and yes the CZ -10 c to name a few.

Glock didn't get the contract simply due to the fact that you have to fire the weapon (dry fire, hopefully) in order to disassemble.

The Army also wanted a "modular" handgun and they got it with the Sig P320. I have the P
320 subcompact and the trigger is outstanding.

Glock triggers aren't all that bad for for what they are - a combat accurate pistol. You can make the trigger much better for less than $50 with a new connector. Big deal. I highly doubt the trigger is why they lost the contract.

I own or have shot many of those listed, but still carry Glocks. But I do really like my CZ's, and I'm itching to pick up a P-10 C. I don't think it will be a Glock killer due to the cost of mags, we'll see.

Woohoo, another Glock clone. BFD.

Until you shoot one and realize that you could buy two of the P-10s for the cost of making one Glock have a trigger anywhere near as good as the P-10 out of the box.

Word is all new production CZ P-07 mags will have the notch, and they will be interchangeable with the P10c. Seems easy enough to "dremel" yourself that slot till then. I will wait for a P10 sub compact. My 75D PCR is getting a little lonely:-(.

bummer about the mags. These mags will fit my P-07 but not the other way around. CZ mags are too expensive to stock up another battery of mags.If my current mags cross fit I would consider this as am looking for my first striker.

It is said you can cut a notch on your P07/09 mag to fit in the P10c. I currently own the SP01 P07 2nd gen and loves it, CZ seems always fit my hand better Glock, better than HK, better than Sig, beter than S&W, better than 1911s, better than pretty much anything

1 vote

The only difference is that there is a small rectangular cut in the front face of the mag, the P-07 and P-09 use corner cuts on either side of the mag depending on the side you have the release setup for. Any competent gunsmith or machinist should be able use a P-10 mag as a pattern.

CZs sell FAST. Most places can't keep them in stock for long. Sometimes CZ will send in some big shipments and places like KYGunCo or Bud's can keep them in stock for a few weeks, but that's about it. They go very fast.
