Might be helpful to explain what makes this worth 2.5 as much as the lantern in the deal, if indeed you have any experience at all with the TaoTronics lamp. The Streamlight name alone isn't enough to explain the disparity between two 5-star products... but it had BETTER be superior for $25 more.
I bought one of these when they were a lightning deal at $19. There is no way in hell anyone bought one for the list price of 99, or the 'regular price' of 69. It's just a normal plastic mini lantern. I'd be afraid to drop it and crack the thing.
I guess it may be worth it now that it's selling for $13 - but know that you are getting a cheap plastic made in china mini lantern, nothing more.
