This product is useless as a "survival" filter. Only meant to filter larger contaminants, not unsafe microbes. Thankfully I was able to cancel my order last time this "deal" came up. I have no idea if you'd be able to cancel with Tanga so unless you're looking for a filter that only "improves water taste", don't bother with this. Per the manufacturer: "Not for use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality".
