Note - These rifles were purchased from Pioneer under a special Blem SKU due to the fact that they may have a minor cosmetic blemish in the tint of the bluing of the metal. Frankly, we can't see any difference with the naked eye in regards to these as opposed to their non-blemished rifles, but they say that under the right light, it can be seen in some of the guns in this run and therefore they are selling them under a separate code. Again, we are hard-pressed to find the blemish but we were not going to argue with a deal.... and we are passing the savings on to you. Other than a possible minor cosmetic blem in the tint of the bluing, or possibly some minor box rub on the furniture that can easily be polished out, these rifles are 100% perfect and still carry all warranties. The goal of Pioneer Arms was to be able to introduce a very dependable Eastern Bloc quality AK rifle to the U.S. marketplace at a very affordable price point. With this new AK Sporter, we think that they have achieved that in spades. This beautiful semi-automatic version of the Polish AK-47 Rifle got its start at the Pioneer Arms factory in Radom Poland with the final U.S. compliance and finish being done here in the U.S. by Pioneer Arms U.S.A. The rifle possesses the original Military Spec Polish Receiver and Barrel and many of the original Com-Bloc characteristics that you would expect from a Polish-based military rifle. This is the Original Polish AK- Sporter model, however, the rifle does have some Gen 2 improvements. This rifle features an extremely comfortable U.S.-made Phoenix Technology buttstock with a storage compartment, recoil pad, and sling swivel, a new bolt hold open safety lever, and one of the highest quality and most comfortable premium-grade U.S.-made pistol grips on the market. It also features the new Pioneer Arms - Premium Grade Hand Polished AK 47 Fire Control Group and an internal side retention plate for the ultimate in trigger smoothness and security. The rifle accepts and is fully compliant with all high cap AK-47 mags and drums regardless of the country of origin and each rifle ships with 2-30 round mags. Unlike many of the U.S.-built Franken-Rifles on the market today, all of the primary rivet work, head spacing, etc... on this rifle is done at the factory in Poland so the fit and finish are exceptional. The Pioneer AK Sporter has the same primary receiver components, trunnion, and bolt carrier group as the select-fire rifles that Pioneer Arms produces to fulfill their numerous military contracts. In fact, this rifle incorporates the same front trunion as all of the select-fire ( full auto ) AKs that they produce for military applications around the world. All structural parts have been rigorously tested to ensure the highest possible quality and long life. The rifle also features a button pulled, 1 in-10 twists rifled barrel with a nitride-coated bore. The barrel is threaded on the end with the original military 14x1 left-hand thread pattern so if you want to change out the ported brake that comes on the rifle, all original 7.62x39 caliber AK muzzle brake designs will fit as well. Sights are meticulously inspected for proper alignment so you should expect no canting. Gas port settings are properly drilled to insure smooth cycling action with no overblow or short cycles. Rivet work is triple-inspected and each rifle leaves the plant with a high degree of uniformity from rifle to rifle. They are completed with a beautiful black melonite external finish.

This rifle carries a full one-year refund, repair, or replacement warranty through Pioneer Arms U.S.A. In addition, the front trunnion portion of the rifle carries a lifetime warranty that follows the rifle. In other words, even if you are not the original owner, if there is ever an issue regarding the front trunion - i.e a crack, or a headspace issue, then Pioneer Arms U.S.A. will repair or replace the rifle free of charge. Having said that, we have every confidence that the warranty will never be needed as these new rifles have been test-fired extensively by Pioneer Arms USA upon final compliance inspection.
