The MCX-Rattler LT is an evolution of the original MCX-Rattler, designed to meet the rigorous demands of Special Operations forces. This compact, modular rifle features fully ambidextrous controls, including an ambidextrous bolt-catch and bolt-release, allowing for ease of use by both left- and right-handed shooters. It is built for both suppressed and unsuppressed shooting with its adjustable gas piston. The rifle is equipped with a 6.75" or 7.75" cold hammer-forged barrel, providing an ultra-compact design for tight spaces and quick maneuvers. This new model also introduces compatibility with all LT barrels and handguards, increasing the platform’s versatility. The MCX-Rattler LT comes standard with a SIG flat-blade match trigger for enhanced control and precision, as well as a SIG QD suppressor-ready flash hider, making it ready for use with suppressors. Available in multiple calibers, including .300 Blackout, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62x39, it offers shooters flexibility depending on their mission or personal preference. The rifle’s modularity and compact design make it ideal for tactical applications and close-quarter engagements, while retaining the durability and reliability the MCX platform is known for.
