The MK18 AR15-style pistol, inspired by the original MK18 popular with Law Enforcement and Special Operations, is classified as a pistol and not an NFA-regulated short-barreled rifle. Featuring a 10.3-inch cold hammer-forged barrel ideal for CQB operations, the MK18 includes the Daniel Defense picatinny quad rail provided to USSOCOM and a patented 6-bolt Bolt-Up System. The pistol is equipped with an SB Tactical SBA3 Pistol Stabilizing Brace with 5 adjustable positions and an ambidextrous QD swivel attachment point. The GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle is ambidextrous, and the ergonomic Daniel Defense Pistol Grip offers enhanced control with its integral trigger guard and overmolding. The lower receiver has a flared magwell and QD attachment points, while the upper receiver is mil-spec with M4 feed ramps. The 1:7 twist barrel is chrome-lined and phosphate coated, paired with a low-profile gas block and direct impingement gas system. It features a Daniel Defense flash suppressor, M16 profile bolt carrier group, and an H buffer. The handguard is a free-floating Daniel Defense RIS II MK18, and the package includes a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, Santoprene rail panels, and is made in the USA.
