A comparison to generic revolvers isn't really a comparison. These fire off the bottom to help with recoil for one thing so extra engineering went into them Anything with style is going to be more expensive. Even a governor is around $900. Not too mention colt pythons being around $1200

Several comments here suggesting DB is preferable over RDB, but I've also watched reviews suggesting that RDB yields better (less) recoil impulse. Maybe the idea is just that RDB isn't worth the higher price, but if anyone wants to explain why DB is or can be superior to an audience of one (I know this is an old thread), I'm listening.

These swords were part of a secret US super weapon program run parallel to the Manhattan Project. The design was intended to counter Japanese Hanzo Steel if an Allied invasion of the Japanese mainland had kicked off while maintaining a fit and format the Allied island-hopping forces were already used to using.

Sadly, the originals were all destroyed after the war, and all we're left with are these CCP copies.
