Best handgun in this price range money can buy. As a firearms instructor for armed security certifications, I've recommended this pistol to many new guards who were on a budget. Before doing so I personally vetted and carried one of these for almost 6 months. Shooting several hundreds of rounds thru it and I can tell you that it is 100 percent reliable, super comfy and shoots as smooth as butter. On top of this it is accurate as any pistol costing 3 to 4 times the money. I saw say it stands side by side with my HK VP9. In fact I'd say it's actually more accurate!... I have several guards in my company who carry these now. I occasionally still carry my optics ready version. Great gun!

Great compact handgun for anyone needing protection and on a budget. As always get proper training first but if your in the market for an inexpensive, reliable, high capacity conceal carry weapon it's hard to beat these little pistols. Taurus has come a long way in the past 7-10 years.. shoot a few hundred rounds of good ammo thru these during training and it'll run reliably and accurate for you. I've had a handful of these since the g2 and the g3 is much better. I am a firearms certification instructor for armed security and have handled and shit several of these myself.

Bought a similar "Builder's Grade" kit recently from RTB that had burrs and metal fillings around the locking lugs which impeded the action until cleared. It ended up being fine after cleaning it thoroughly. Just know what you're getting for the price and do the extra work to inspect and such. Don't assume it's range ready out of the box.
