Not sure how efficient their design is using a tube with no surface contact, as by not having a thermal bond line interface means the carbon fiber tubing is most likely acting as a thermal insulator, rather than a thermal conduit to dissipate the thermal transference.

My comments are confirmed by the fact that all those holes were implemented due to that very fact. What they should have done was call Arctic Silver Inc as they have lots of contracts with NASA, Surefire and lots of other entities for special applications, and have them make a priopiatary thermal interface material to mate the carbon fiber to the barrel to deal with the delaminations. Directly mating the carbon fiber to the barrel sans a TIM is going to be inefficient. Carbon fiber wrapped barrels has the potential to be kick ass, but in this application with an overtube with no contact, it's a waste of carbon fiber, it's like buying a Ferrari and going never going over the posted speed limit.

A thermal interface material that offers high heat thermal transfer, and is permeable enough to deal with a barrels stressful heat and concussions IMHO is the way to efficiently implement carbon fiber to a rifle barrel.

I just looked on Brownell's website. I saw no such information. Still would've bought them at Academy since I didn't check Brownell's first anyway.

I saw and bought them at Academy. Wished I'd known about the primers before purchasing. Don't care about the crimp but the primer difference means I'll have to segregate them from my other brass.

Received the 3 BCG's and my Glock 22 SS barrel, just hours ago. Obviously haven't tested them, but all dry fit and cycle. I made 2 other orders as the prices were too low to pass up! I wouldn't expect Brownell shipping lead times. But so far way faster than PSA!
