While I agree the MAC 9 DS-D Comp is a very great gun for $800, this FDE version is not worth $1250 unless you just get a raging hard-on over FDE guns and are willing to pay the extra $450. Tisas is selling it for even cheaper than MAC was, now that they've come to the US. You can get the gun cerakoted for $250 or less.

Huge discount on this. They haven't been overly popular with hunters as the Kimber 84 set a high standard for traditionalists like myself, and the stock design, checkering, threaded barrel etc on the Silva are a big departure. I wouldn't pay full retail for one but this is a good deal if you're needing the claw extractor. 30-06 will do everything most hunters need, although I wouldn't hang a suppressor on this or use a brake. The push feed Weatherby Vanguard is arguably a better deal with more choices and of similar looks. Good deal OP ethann.

What is the trigger like? Is it a DA only, or a "safe action"? How is accuracy? I like the concept (and price). I carry at work , even though we aren't supposed to, so small and compact is ideal. Discretion is paramount. I am on the road all day, inside my state, so the CCW covers me. Right now, I usually carry a sub compact 9mm. Limited to ten rounds due to size (not law).
