I just purchased a lower pistol build kit, the 7.5”, 10.5” and 16” upper build kits. Insane prices!! I don’t really care about finish but really want to see these things fit and function well. I’m excited to get these soon as they have shipped within days of ordering. Usually when I’m this excited about something there is bound to be disappointment ahead... we shall see
Don't plan on EVER receiving a rebate from Sig! Over last couple of years I have purchased 4 Sigs, all eligible for rebates. I submitted all rebates as prescribed, got confirmations - but received ZERO rebates. These guys are batting 1,000 on NOT delivering their Rebates. Buy the gun based on the value without considering the rebate - because you will never see it.
....Good luck sharpening this. My crystal balls says that once this knife arrives, you'll play with it for 3 days, and once the novelty wears off, you'll wish you hadn't spent $62 on this useless toy.
I have a similar spiral knife from a kitchen store, it'll spiral cut any fruit or vegetable, the difference being, mine has a storage sheath that has a built in rotary sharpener simply by cleaning it, drying it, then put into the sheath which auto sharpens it. It has some sort of a magnetic liner that compensates for the spiral geometry. I think I used it twice, as like this, it's a stupid product that was gifted to me when I bought my 1st home. In fact I forgot I even owned it until I saw this lame product.
