As somebody who used Yugo M76 (7.92x57mm) in Balkan Wars I can tell you this rifle is not worth 1/3 of the asking price. It is simply long stroke AK. It is over-gassed, the barrel is very thin and it starts to loose accuracy as soon as the barrel gets hot (which happens quickly). PSO 4x24 scope is based on lens grinding technology from 50's and is not very clear as far as I remember. It was barely adequate for 800 meters shots. I remember having a very hard time acquiring targets at that distance (I was 19 years old at that time and had great eyesight). It is just a DMR that has 2MOA (at best) accuracy. As far as I remember this one is even heavier (11+ pounds) than M76.
I am always fascinated with American people having (for me) unconditional love for Russian garbage. I am gun owner here in USA and shoot regularly. My safe is filled with ARs and bolt action USA made rifles. I have used Russian design rifles in Balkan Wars. If you by some unfortunate circumstance put me back in that time again and offer me AK or AR I would take AR without thinking. Again I just don't understand fascination that Americans have for AKs.

Hell, I'd say less than 1% of self professed shooters have even heard of a 220 russian.
They buy that shit because it's trendy, not knowing that you'd be hard pressed to hit a beer can at 300 yards (which a good shooter should be able to do with a .22LR bolt rifle quite easily). Oh, and their favorite rap (artist?) uses one in some random video so it must be cool....right ?

$1,500 would have been overpriced. It's Zastava. Barely workman quality for premium prices.

"the Zastava M91 brings a classic rifle back to the market at an affordable price" ?? Right... because everybody wants to spend $3,000 for an AK47 on steroids.

And that uses an obsolete round. I know someone is going to give me shit for hating on 54r. I have a 30-06 Vepr that was $1k, similar ballistics, and double stack cspec mags.
