Seriously? You can have quality brass 9mm for < $20 more/1000. Prices are still dropping. Just wait it out people. This isn't a "deal" by any stretch.

Item Number: G9MMACAN-1000
I have ordered 1000 round sets from both sources. I also agree that GA reloads are quality. However, you statement about the $20 difference is a little jaded. Saving money also has to do w/ your net cost.
Georgia Arms
1000 Rounds of 9mm "Canned Heat" - $250.00
Shipping - $33.00 (Shipped to Texas)
Total = $283.00
Sportsman's Guide (Member Price)
1000 Rounds of Wolf 9mm Ammo - $239.69
Shipping - FREE (w/ SH1132 code - Expires TOMORROW!)
Total = $239.69
Difference is ammo cost:
$43.31
Difference for Non-members of SG ($12.00):
$31.31
If you hold value for the ammo can that the "Canned Heat" comes in, which is roughly $10.00:
$21.31
If you can figure a way to get rid of the excess in ammo cans and never acquire the membership discount from SG, I'd say your statement is close to accurate. For me, the membership pays for itself fairly quickly and I will partake in deals like this all day. In the end, it depends how much you shoot.
I own three caliber weapons .380, 9mm, and .223/5.56, I keep an average of 2,5000 rounds for each on hand at all times as a hedge against the next shortage which is inevitable after another unbalanced POS shoots up a School, Mall, or Movie Theater. Although I don’t always buy at the rock bottom lowest price, I don’t ever buy at the highest price either which creates a reasonable average price point for me
Eh, shipping brings it to about a $0.05 difference for me. I'd rather shoot another 20% more ammo, never had a problem with steel cased stuff. $50 per thousand cheaper, after 6,000 rounds, it saves me the $300 I paid for my Glock. Buy them both and stack them deep.
Yeah, so put that in your pipe and smoke it..... :-}.
Yes, prices are dropping - until like Markbntn noted, "another unbalanced POS shoots up a School, Mall, or Movie", & screws up the price decline. Timing is everything.
