The VDD-80-P is our highest-precision, 3D CNC-machined 80% lower receiver, made from aerospace grade aluminum billets at our facility on cutting-edge equipment. Forged lowers are ideally suited to inexpensively producing cheap products in high volume, but the drawback is poor aesthetic consistency, unpredictable fit/finish and material instability. Many billet receivers often come at the expense of added weight – But not ours! Our stylish design begins with the exact mil-spec geometry of a forged lower and carves away additional material in strategic and thoughtful locations to not only significantly reduce the weight, but also enhance the style.
